What a interesting place.. So lovely to visit and browse. Beautiful Canadian artist's paintings and products. Spent about an hour there, picking up items, mulling them over, discussing, and admiring the handiwork. Absolutely worth a visit. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and never pressured. They accept Visa and MC. Will be moving soon down the road to a bigger location and that's telling you something! Thanks for a great afternoon.

This company, their work, their staff - wow. If you are looking for an heirloom piece, something well made and well designed, without a bunch of handholding from straight-forward and honest people, then this is for you. Don’t just email them - call them. Talk to their staff and have someone answer your questions. They are usually busy doing things right so they aren’t the most communicative, but they aren’t in the business of marketing. They are in the business of woodwork. The end results were absolutely something my husband and I will cherish. Thank you for doing something right, something thoughtful, and something beautiful with a kind attitude from everyone involved!

I had a large maple live edge dining table custom made in May 2017. Within 3 months 2 large cracks developed through the middle section of the table top. I have followed up with the Wood Shop and received NO reply. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I would like clarification of the guarantee/warranty on the table and its workmanship. IKEA provides guarantees on their mass-produced products, surely this made-in Canada shop would stand behind their one-of-a-kind 100% Canadian wood pieces less than 1 year after production!

Great looking woodwork in the shop. And had lots of help with picking out some ash live edge a while ago that I made into a nice little table for my wife. Decent prices. Relaxed atmosphere.

One of the most beautiful places on Earth. The lakes are super clean and the swimming is spectacular. Kayaking is superb. It's a peaceful place.
