Original Pho Vietnamese Eatery

We celebrated my birthday with Original Pho Eatery, and ordered pho and vermicelli. The soup was really good and the portion was large. I love the decor of the restaurant, nice place to spend time with friends.

Very first time visiting this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. I started with #20 The shrimp salad rolls as my appetizer & had #17 The chicken pho with chicken meatballs as my main. The soup was very, very good with lots of flavors. Will be back for sure!Food: 5/5

Original pho is our new favorite pho place! Great service, good prices, huge portions, amazing broth and fresh ingredients. The crab noodle soup was delicious we really like the salad rolls and Original roll aswell.

Best beef broth I’ve tasted in the city. Crispy spring roll was the delicious and unique and at a great price. A must try if you love!

When looking for a Vietnamese restaurant, I look for Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu on their menu. This eatery had both. We ordered both and they were both flavourful. The Bun Bo Hue had proper spiciness. Will definitely go back.

I have learnt that Pho can act as a ‘cure-all’. When I visited, I had the tell-tail sign of a migraine! While my wonderfully delicious Steak and Meatballs Pho Large didn’t rid me of the migraine, it provided much warmth and comfort. It helped me relax and in turn helped reduce some of the tension in my shoulders and neck. The service was attentive and engaging. The menu offers something for every taste. Mmmm good!

Very nice cosy restaurant especially on a rainy day. We got seated immediately, and our food was fresh, and delicious. The large pho was a good filling size. Our server/waiter was very attentive and welcoming. This is now our go to pho place. They ask for the covid passport and identification. There’s ample free parking.

Took a little trip down to Langford to visit family this past weekend and decided to try one of the few Vietnamese places nearby. Original Pho Vietnamese Eatery was rated well online so we decided to give them a try! Just a short wait and we were seated but the friendly staff. I appreciated their covid safety protocols and overall the restaurant felt clean. Onto the food! We ordered an Original Pho $15, which was on the small side for a large bowl. Ingredients were fresh and the broth had a interesting aftertaste we guessed was tamarind or something of that sort. It was quite average. We also ordered two vermicelli dishes $15 each, one with lemongrass chicken and the other lemongrass pork, both paired with shredded pork and a fried roll. These were both quite good, the pork being the better of the two. Fried rolls were crispy and a good size. Portion-wise this was standard and had a nice presentation. I was mostly disappointed with the chicken wings special $10. When the dish arrived I noticed that half the top drumette part was removed and there were 4 wings. These were seasoned well but overcooked and dry. I was appalled that these 4 wings were considered 8 pieces, since 4 of them would then mean they were half pieces? Definitely could use room for improvement on this. Service was prompt and food was fresh. Portions are on the small size for the price, but flavors were decent.

Living on Mainland I was very impressed with the service and the decor at this restaurant. The portions were large. Easy to park.

absolutely 5 star. The service is awesome. Food is great. The summer roll is fulfilled and the wrap has the properly texture. However, the peanut sesame sauce is too sweat for me, just too westernized. The broth of pho is the best balanced I have ever had. It is very like a consomme, clear,light and not greasy. I can feel the chef here has lots of own thoughts and infuses them into this restaurant. Will come back again for sure. Everything is so good!!! I come back so many times , and am satisfied every meal!
