Orangeville Motel

The motel was easy to find, and the staff at the reception was friendly and welcoming.nnI arrived at the motel later in the evening, having to work early the next morning, leaving me little option but to stay the night.nnI did consider sleeping in my carnnThe room looked tidy, but I didn't feel confident in its cleanliness.nnThe bedding was dingy, the towels a mix between grey and beige when they should have been white.nnThe caulking around the sink was a moldy green colour. See picturennDuring the night, the air conditioning was blowing on full blast. I tried to control it with the thermostat, but it had no effect.nnI ended up having to cover the floor vent with the shoe mat. But I was still very cold and had a hard time sleeping.nnThere was a musty or food type smell that I think was coming through the vent.nnThis motel would benefit from using a laundry service to ensure clean, fresh linens for each guest and making a small investment of money and time to deep clean each room and do some maintenance like re-grouting around the sinks/tubs, and replacing small things like stained shower curtains.nnI realize their prices are VERY low, but if they want to ever be able to charge closer to the going rate and have guests stay more than a single night and possibly return in my opinion, improvements need to be made.

We have had a very pleasant stay here. This is our second time. Staff are very courteous. We stayed in the same room twice and it was very clean. They are very accommodating if you have a request.nThank you

My work set me and some coworkers up at this motel. First off, the lady at the desk was nice, but she told me like 2 or 3 times that I can't smoke in the room, even after saying I understood the first time. She also told me that because I'm alone in my two bed room, I can only use one lol. Wild.nThe first bed I was going to use had a spot on it that looked like blood, or what bed bugs leave behind. The room made me feel itchy.nI was excited for the decent sized bathtub until I found a pubic hair in it. The shower walls were also covered in soap scum. The towels varied from white to beige.nThe tv didn't work.nThe mugs by the coffee maker weren't clean.nnAnd the worst part? You can't control the temperature of your room. There is no AC in there. I went to the front desk to ask about it but they were closed for the night so I used the phone. I explained to the man on the phone that my room was warm and I didn't have an AC unit. He said he would check on it. So shortly after getting back to my room, the floor vents started blowing cold air... that smelled very strongly of Indian food. The AC stayed on all night and my coworkers and I couldn't sleep because it was so cold. This motel has central air... that's definitely a first for me.nnOh, and my deadbolt didn't work. I was in room #5

Had a lovely stay here while hiking the Bruce Trail. Room was clean, service was friendly and the AC was a life saver in the middle of a heat wave. Highly recommend.

This place is disgusting. Got a room found used condoms inside the drawer, when we went to talk to the owner and get our money back I got accused of using them and had a fight to get my money. TV didn't work when we got there had to ask for help. Then when I went to get my money back was told that we broke it. There was also a guy staying there in a different room that was selling drugs. Would not recommend this place!!!
