Irvine House

The Irvine House is immaculate, thoughtfully appointed, and homey. We drove from Indiana to Orangeville to pick up a puppy at Kyon Kennels so we stayed just one night. Our hostess, Helen, was very warm and friendly, not at all obtrusive. Our room had a queen-sized bed and private bath. The shower and bath was spotless and the mattress was so very comfortable with cozy linens. Helen served us breakfast in the dining room with elegant table service and excellent food. Helen was very prompt in answering my inquiries about a reservation and accommodated our schedule. I thought for the quality of the home and food, her rates are very reasonable for a bed and breakfast. The home is centrally located and easy to find. I recommend The Irvine House to anyone wanting to stay in the Orangeville, Ontario area. The rolling hills and countryside of the Niagara Escarpment are just stunning, even with our visit in mid-March. I imagine summer and fall would be spectacular. The Canadian folks are so warm and friendly - they smile, look you in the eye, say thank you.
