Howard Johnson Orangeville

Stayed for one night for cousin's wedding. My boyfriend went to shower before wedding and there were clumps of black hair on the shower and bath tub. We opened fridge to put water into it; there was leftover food and open cups with liquid. When we went to complain, no person was at front desk nor did anyone come when rang bell. Stopped a housekeeper, and she was so unprofessional... would not help us at all. Kept saying it was not her fault. For a one night stay, at 130 dollars, this place is overpriced. Howard Johnson needs to really fix their ****. Never returning again.

The lady that made the reservation was extremely helpful and accommodating when an issue arose with a competitors motel I had reserved in town but fell through. Room was clean but walls were a little beat up. Not a big concern though. But for a few complaints. There was hardly any hot water in the shower. Had to have a really cold shower first thing in the morning. Not at all pleased with that. Also, not enough towels in the room for two of us. The clerk at the front desk was no where to be found when we wanted to check out. Had to wait for her, were many missed off guests in front of us in line.

Room was pretty small, considering we were given an upgraded room, other rooms where considerably larger. Bathroom light flickered and was insufficient for proper viewing. Cleaning lady openned our door at 9:30 while we where still in room. Check out time was 11.

The staff and facilities were too notch. Reasonably priced. Good amenities. Recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I think the CEO of the Howard Johnson Hotel should come and take a look at this hotel. What a shame. We walked in the hallway it smelled aweful. Our bedroom door was hard to open and shut, the tile on the floor was cracked, the floor where the couch and table was thought we were going to fall through it and it had stains on it. The bed sheets and pillows had stains on it thank god we brought our own blankets and pillows. The next morning we didn't want to attempt the breakfast. We were so disgusted. The only reason why we stayed here was because it was the long weekend and nothing else was available and we have stayed at many Howard Johnson Hotel's and never had an experience like this one. WOW. Again the CEO of Howard Johnson Hotel should come and take a look at this place.
