Orange Door Cantonese & Szechuan Restaurant

Spectacular food!!! I live really close so I didn't get the food delivered.. I think the give 10% off if you pick it up. I had a bit of trouble finding the place but that's just cause I'm blind at night time.. It's tucked around the corner on an alley off of 2nd.. Very cool spot. Takeout or delivery only - there's no place to sit and eat, but what a great place if you just want some good Chinese food in the comfort of your home.

Never had a really bad experience on this place until today. Ordered $312 worth of food for delivery for an event and i had figured that their promo for free chop suey applies. The promo states that you get a free chopsuey for an order of over $60. I figured that with the amount of food i ordered there would be 5 chop suey for free. The cook (older guy with goatee) said that i would only get 3 because the promo is for between $60 to $100 worth of order. I grabbed their take out menu and showed him where it says that it is for over $60 but he still insisted on his own promotion. That does not make sense. You cant just change an existing promotion on a whim. I have been ordering here for years but this just ruined it for me. Totally bad customer service. They just lost my business.

Barely passable. The service was good, but two out of the three dishes I ordered were basically innedible. If you're trying to get your Sesame chicken fix don't order it, there were chunks of chicken skin mixed in. Spring rolls tasted like five spice strongly. The two szechuan dishes tasted the same. I wanted to like this place because it has been around a long time, but I don't know if I can even give it a second chance. Quality is lower than that of food court Chinese, One star because I wanted to like it, two stars because the service was good.

I think this is the best Chinese food in north van. Just went back today for spring rolls and wor won ton soup since I am a bit sick and it was enough for 2 people for dinner. There is no seating there. It is take out or delivery only.

Great food, plentiful too for the price. Really quick if you pick up and a 10% discount too!
