My husband and I have been to this place several times, and we always thought the staff behaviour was disrespectful to us and our little daughter but today will surely be our last visit. What happened was, we ordered two dishes, and then we thought we wanted to eat more so we ordered third dish without knowing there was actually eggs in it. 
Because I don't eat eggs when it came I just told the waitress that I was sorry and I didn't know there was eggs in my dish. Then she said "OH MY GOD" and took the food away. So we thought we would order something else and again we ask her if we can have the menu: she said "YOU WANT MORE FOOD? OH MY GOD" and she turned her back to us, and left and returned in a few minutes with our receipt, put it on the table and said "WE CANNOT GIVE YOU FOOD. WE CANNOT GET YOUR ORDER." we were shocked and heart broken, and hurt, and didn't know what to do.
The thing is that "we never told them that we wouldn't pay for that dish.
I am sharing this experience because I hope what happen to us will not repeat for anyone.
How they treated our 2.5 year old daughter is a whole other story. I wish she had never experienced what she did today.

Best Chinese lunch on the North Shore. They have specials at lunch for $10. Amazing food.

Been coming here for years. Definitely recommend the ginger beef, spicy green beans and sweet and sour pork. Service could be more attentive and could use more staff some days when dining in but the food is amazing and that's whats been keeping us coming back all these years. 

One of the better, if not best, Chinese food restaurants in North Van for sure.

The worst restaurant you can visit. The people are very rude and they don't value other persons time or money.
P.S. I was at the receiving end when they started yelling at me.

Best place hands down on the North Shore for Chinese food. Agree with many others here on how the service is hit and miss, but that's typical with most Asian mom and pop restaurants. Prices are on the higher side, but portions are good and food tastes great. Highly recommend!
