On the Vine Market Place

We loved this place! They are a bigger, better Trader Joe's with lots of local produce, baked good and other food sourced locally. They have a very large selection of things. It's just a very cool space.

I bought a Cowboy Cut from the butchers counter. It was 1.97lb and had marbling that made real marble look like sandstone. Salted the night before with a coarse seaweed salt and then peppered and seared in cast iron for 4 minutes on each side don't forget those edges then let it rest for 10 minutes. When I tell you this was the best steak I've ever had, hand to God, this is the best steak I've ever had. I can't stress this enough, BUY YOUR MEAT HERE.

I've driven by a thousand times and always wondered what it was like. I finally went in today to check it out. I was impressed by the variety of things. I really didn't need anything but ended buying a couple of produce items that I have never seen in a "regular" grocery store. The butcher shop looked pretty amazing and the bakery items had me very tempted. I'm glad I finally went in and plan on returning soon. I've tried both the butcher shop, fish, and Bakery all were very good. Still the same

Found this place a couple of years ago on business trip. Drove up today from NH for long weekend. Amazing selection of high quality produce, sandwiches, pastries, seafood, snacks, and cooking ingredients! Kind of a blend between Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Taste Unlimited stores in VA Beach. Amazing. Prices higher but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend!

I wanted a coconut birthday cake. They didn't have one but the baker told me she could make one. It was the best cake I have had in my 78 years. Will order it next year too. Thank you!

Recently had the pleasure of planning outstate Baby Shower for our daughter in law and son-Planning from Vermont, party Maine. Val was so very easy, made several suggestions. Desserts were absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS … highly recommend Raspberry Cheesecake

Prices are reasonable for what you get. We Bought some 93-7 ground beef made in house. It looks delicious. They said they use high quality trimmings of the steaks and meat they butcher. The steaks looked delicious. The fish is a little less expensive then the fish market down the street.

This place is amazing for everyone. Great butcher shop, great premade foods, large variety hard to find goods and lots of locally made foods. I promise I wasn't paid to write this. I always stop here before a great camping trip or Sunday football.

I already love the store and their deli/bakery/grocery options, so when I ordered a birthday cake from them for my sister's 30th I had pretty high expectations. From the start, communication was easy and regular. That was immediately a plus. Then there was the ordering process, again so easy and smooth. They listened to what I wanted and let me send in pictures They made the cake to my exact specifications and it was soooo good! It was a huge hit and hardly any was left afterward, which says a lot because it was a massive cake! Also the value for something so beautiful and delicious could not be beat! Under $80! I highly recommend OTV for anything you need!
