It was pretty inconsistent. Some pieces of the burnt ends were rock-hard; other pieces were soft and juicy. Wish the orders came with more sides than the mediocre coleslaw. Prices seemed high but I suppose it's the standard for the area. The loud music wasn't a huge issue if the bass wasn't blasting in my ears constantly. But service was good, restaurant is clean.
The burnt ends are more like pork belly - odd but still delicious. We weren't too big of a fan of the wings. It was too sweet and did not taste smoked at all. The service was ok too.
I love that you can smell the food as you walk in! We sat on the second floor with great views of Wrigleyville. The food was good but the fries in particular had this seasoning on then that reminded me of BBQ chips and they were delicious . Can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu!
Came here after the cubs game and it was absolutely rammed. Great screens, great music. We managed to snag a table and ordered some ribs which literally came in less than 10 minutes. They were tender and fell off the bone. The slaw had no flavour and was basically just cabbage. The white bread was bizarre and we didn’t touch it.
Bartenders need to fix their attitude. Absolute waste of time. Definitely avoid the white guy w the sleeve tats. If you charge me for a drink and I’ve paid for it you have no right to throw it away before I even get a sip. Absolutely disgusting behavior and a rip off because apparently the bartenders have absolute insight into a person’s state of mind. Music was alright but the employees made sure to make the experience worth dreading. Never been to a bar this bad.
The Old Crow is such a fun place to enjoy drinks and live music on the weekends! The big horse allowed for a fun family picture opportunity. YUMMY COCKTAILS I have no idea how they came up with these delicious drinks! I would highly recommend coming here.
Old Crow is a great place to come in with friends. Great food and great live music. The atmosphere is fun and is complemented by great staff and management. Cant wait for when baseball season is back a great place to watch a cubs game!
Oh brother, this place stinks. We bought 9 tickets to a bottomless mimosa brunch. When we arrived, all of the bigger tables were taken except for one. When I asked a server if we could sit there, I was met with empty eyes. The lights were on but no one was home. Another server told us the table was reserved, so we tried to move two tables together. All of a sudden, the first server came back to life to tell us we weren’t allowed to do that. It was a miracle! After waiting on a server for awhile, we went up to try to order at the bar. The bartenders told us we couldn’t order at the bar even though the flyer at our table told us we could. A server finally came over to our table, and after repeating our drink orders 5 times, we finally had a mimosa. I think any MLM girlie from my high school could run a business better. A real shame given the food was delicious.
Absolutely love Old Crow! My friends and I come here almost every weekend and the staff and management are always excellent. A great spot to hear live music on a Saturday night, watch a game, or brunch on Sunday morning.
Excellent smokehouse! We ended up here after a cubs canceled game. I loved the atmosphere. The food was great and service was perfect! We first ordered the giant pretzel, then we had brisket and pulled pork, beans and macaroni and cheese, cornbread and Brussel sprouts. Also, the brisket sandwich.. Just way too much food. The brisket was good, but very fatty. Pulled pork was excellent. The macaroni and cheese was crusty on top and got more cheesy as you got to the bottom. Cornbread was good. Brussel sprouts were good, came with brisket pieces. Baked beans were just average, skip them. The pulled pork/brisket sandwich was good, skip the fries. I recommend the mad moonshine drink and the front porch punch.
