My friend and I tried this place randomly but were both very satisfied with the food and the ambiance of the place. We both had the all beef platter with the ribs, and i had the chili and coleslaw sides. I also ordered the brownie with banana ice cream. I have no complaints whatsoever about any of the food that I ordered, and would definitely make this a regular spot. Great place to go chill with some friends or a chill date night. The sauces are also fantastic, and if it weren’t against my conscience and not legal, I would have stolen a bottle of every single one of them. Also, our server Maria was great and super friendly which is always a huge plus for me.
Now, I will note that I went here with a buddy of mine that goes here often, so they took care of us, but Offset BBQ is one of the best restaurants I've been to, full-stop. Maria was the server taking care of us and she knew the menu, through and through. Explained everything very well and asked us enough questions to guide us through what we should eat. Everything that we are was absolutely incredible! From the Green Beans, to the Brisket, Offset BBQ really knows what they're doing and is some of the best BBQ in the city!
Amazing! Visited here last weekend after a volleyball tournament and wasn't disappointed! EVERYTHING is AMAZING! Firstly, the team at Offset BBQ is amazing, always checking in, and took time to show us around the menu. Appetizer: Wings were so great! Very well made and loved sampling the sauces. Entree: Sampled the pulled pork/pulled chicken and a few of the sides. All hands down were amazing, no stand outs. And couldn't choose a favorite over the others. Sauce: Not much of a sweet sauce fan; but this had a unique and delicious taste. Thanks again for an amazing meal!
This is hands down my new favorite restaurant! Chicago has some really good food, but I’ve been struggling to find good bbq since I moved up from Texas a few years ago. Not anymore. The brisket here is some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Also do yourself a favor and get one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches. I tried their key lime and strawberry flavors and it is the perfect dessert!
I was craving ribs and this place was the right place for it! Loved everything in my plate! Corn was delicious- not hard , not soft. It was perfect. The waffle fries are amazing! Service was great. Our server Maria was very friendly. Thank you for that! Too bad I didn’t had space for all those desserts though! Highly recommend!!!
Did not expect there to be healthy food options at a BBQ place so was pleasantly surprised to find bibimbap on the menu. They added too much Huli Q sauce for my liking but it was still good. The meat platter was also very good but a little overpriced. I have to disagree with most people on here about the ice cream sandwiches because I thought they were pretty standard. Kudos to the nice waitress who made sure we had a great dining experience!
Best BBQ I've had, like in my life. Honestly, one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Great atmosphere. The staff treats you like family. Everything is made with love. There's no way you're going to leave here without a smile on your face.
We loved our meal here! Doug, one of the owners, was our waiter and talked us through the whole menu. Everything we ordered was incredible. The meat was all very tender and filled with flavor. Homemade Key lime ice cream sandwich at the end was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place!
We had their double cheeseburger that was very Delicious, we also had the barbecue ribs it was a little dry and over cooked other wise it wasn't too bad at all They were willing to give us a fresh batch of Barbecue ribs. I recommend that you come by and give him a try for yourself. Service atmosphere was outstanding I'm definitely coming back. Parking: You can park on the street and there's plenty of parking And no parking meters
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? this is the best restaurant I've been to in at least 6 months. Everything is well seasoned, the service is impeccable, super friendly staff, spacious seating area. Try the cauliflower mac and cheese and ALL of the meats. My husband loved the chili as well!Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
