Avoid urgent care here as it takes forever. Lab services here are fairly quick but I'd go to South Calgary Medical Center if you need an xray, you'll be waiting here more than an hr as well.

I am very disappointed in the proffesionalism and behaviour of a nurse that was trash talking one of the patients in there ...... to the doctor. I was in absolute shock at how disrespectful she was being . I will be taking my family to the high river hospital from now on . Truly disgusted and baffled that it actually happened 😒

I had an excellent experience in the emergency department here the evening and night of Tuesday, January 24, 2017; that is if you can call a trip to ER excellent!  The unit secretary who checked me in and the nurses taking care of me were pleasant and efficient.  Dr. Tristan Hemsbroff was quick with the very obvious diagnosis, gentle in exam to not cause more pain, and immediately presented the plan all the while having a very caring demeanor about him.

This is an amazing rural hospital. Excellent local doctors.
