Terrible experienced in this Hospital my daughter had a ankle injury and had to wait more that 5 hours to meet the Resident doctor . its was a waste  of time  waiting that long hours  my Son waiting for us at home to celebrate his bday that day. i was really dissapointed . . . i hope workers in that hospital are very considerate and dont let people to wait

I often wonder if small town hospital or big city hospital are comparable?  Well, unfortunately/fortunately I found out.  My ER Doctor Dr. Slusar was exceptional.  A gentleman with a quiet strength and patient with questions or concerns.  The nursing staff on the 3rd were excellent and gave me outstanding help and kindness and whatever they are paid is not enough.  My physio team of Hilary, Nicole and Justin were unrelenting to ensure i was strong enough and it was safe enough for me to come home.  After this experience I am sure big city hospitals are great, but what i experienced in High River was incomparable.  I would not hesitate to recommend our hospital.  We are so lucky to have this quality of care in our Town. Dorothy Davidson

Please, if you care about your loved ones do not waste your time at this hospital if given a choice. Always a run around. More  times than not a completely frustrating experience at an already stressful time.

I do understand that the people who work here are just trying to work with what they have. They are shorthanded and short on beds and this is not their fault. BUT. My wife had a day surgery and 1.5 hrs after the surgery they made her sit in the waiting room until I got there. We live 1hr from High River and I had a 1 year old with me. After the phone call it took me about 1.5hr to get there. They kicked her out of her bed shes been dizzy and was not felt good to sit and made her sit after a surgery involving parts what you need to sit on. That was not a plasent surprise. Unbelievable, very disappointed. We seriously need to fix this shortage.
