Canada Diagnostic Centres - Okotoks

Most painful, bruising experience I have ever received from a medical check. Perhaps more training for the tech is required on treating the body with decency. I am not willing to go through that kind of torture ever again.

A big thank you to the staff at the Okotoks location of Canada Diagnostic Centres. Having read earlier reviews I had some concerns but went in with an open mind. Both technicians I dealt with were/are lovely people and the experience was the best it could be thanks to them.

Unbelievable! Find a different x-ray lab these guys don't respect their patients. They say no appointment necessary, publish their hours, you get there and are informed they are not taking patients. Kiran thanks for replying to my review. However what you suggested was not what happened. I was simply told they are not seeing patients this afternoon. No one suggested a different location or to book an appointment. I was told come back another day. By the way there were no other patients.

Just had a mammogram, not my first but I wish it was my last. The tech named Amanda was horrible. I came out of my appointment feeling violated. Absolutely no bedside manner or care for the patient. I am angry at how she treated me. I will now have excessive bruises from her treatment.

I took my partner here for an ultrasound as every where else in Calgary was fully booked up. Were pretty excited to get an appointment in right away. Now I understand why. We did the ultrasounds 2 weeks ago. Doctor still hasn't received the result. What a terrible place

Been here many times for pregnancy ultrasounds have been overall decent experience. Should be a very magical moment. This time they Printed my picture to give me when I was on my way out. It was all white. Could barely see anything. So I went back and asked for a different one and Pattie at the front was very rude about it.

Only gave one star as there was not a lower setting. The incompetence and frustration of the online booking is a huge problem for this company. You cannot contact your own clinic directly, but have to go through a central booking procedure. The wait times are horrible!!! It takes forever to book or change an appointment. As a consumer my own time's just as valuable as the company's. Then after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment and booking time off they cancelled the appointment because there was a booking error on their part. Next appointment is a month away, no priority for me even though it was their error. Terrible customer service.

I have personally had four ultrasounds at the Okotoks location and three in Calgary. Unfortunately all of the technicians I've dealt with in this location were not kind and did not make me feel comfortable. I was shamed for bringing my son who sat at the end of the bed in a carseat. Not everyone can afford child care. In my last ultrasound for my second baby the tech would not turn on the screen for me. She did not describe anything she was doing or seeing in the exam, which made me believe there might be something wrong. This baffled me as it is a necessary part of a pregnancy ultrasound. What a special moment I had taken away for no apparent reason. I'm sure there are some lovely techs here but I would personally make the extra drive to Calgary. Being comfortable and respected in any medical exam is a must.

I booked a mammogram and wasn’t told at the time that I should a valid a Covid booster in the 6 weeks prior to my exam. So I drove all the way from another town, to be told that it would possibly make my lymph nodes enlarged and skew my results - and did I want to rebook? Also, the lady at the front was abrasive and rude. Horrific service.

While getting checked in, 4 or 5 more people came in, all standing behind me and holding the inner door open. I finally said "there are too many people in here, I do not feel comfortable". Receptionist response "nothing". Receptionist then told me to sit and wait to be called and I said again, "there are too many people in here, can I wait outside?". She said yes but to exit I had to ask people to move and we were not 6 feet apart. Then when I went back in, I could not find any sanitizer in the back exray area. For my exray I had to hold a pole but I could not find handsanitizer to use after. I was very upset by the end of this appointment- I have a husband who is immune compromised and I try to be extra careful during this time. I hope I do not need to visit this place again in the near future.
