It was a fun experience, a unique way to prepare instant noodles thats uncommon in Canada I'd done this once in Korea before and it was nostalgic to do it again here. Great for the novelty but the price adds up as you throw toppings into your basket so once you start paying >$15 for a bowl of instant noodles it really does make you question why you chose this as your eating out meal. Nonetheless they have other menus that are worth trying like their kimbap. In terms of their noodle toppings I'd probably suggest against the cheese. It takes a long time to melt it's just a cheesestring and then clumps to your chopsticks and the bottom of the bowl. It doesn't really enhance the experience. The other toppings like the sausage, egg, and rice cakes were great though! We showed up right at opening time and the doors were still locked and lights were still off. It was a Saturday. The owner came about 5 minutes late. Even though it was quick to turn the lights on and get everything started, it did make us question or worry whether they were opened the day we went at the start.
Spam, beef, and spicy pork kimbap were really good. The onigiri had the same flavors as well. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the spam and spicy pork flavors. You can also choose the rice and sauce that comes with the kimbap. The ramen station looks pretty good too. Plenty of variety to choose from.Food: 4/5
This is my new favorite snack restaurant. Very first time to try out gimbap and I absolutely love it! This restaurant sells ramen noodles and korean snacks. They also have a unique machine just for making your own noodles! I ordered the Spam Gimbap mixed with white rice and spicy chili sauce. All gimbaps here are customizable to your own liking or be creative. I also tried the regular oreo snow and I was surprised at the size of their regular and large! Buy a large size if you wanna share with other people and regular just for yourself since it is big! The flavour is nice and not sweet at all. It's not too busy around lunch time but parking will be a struggle at certain hours. Definitely try this place if you are looking for something cheap and not too big of a meal. Parking: Beware of parking in this area! Parking here is shared with many other businesses and you may wait for a while during busy hours.
Great place! You can build your own gimbap and mine was delicious - spicy beef, purple and spicy mayo! The place is very clean, good location and overall the prices are good. Wishing you guys all the best in your business.
Amazing and genius! Service was great, she explained everything thoroughly and the noodles had never been cooked so perfectly in my in life. We got 2 kimbaps and 3 noodles, I mixed in the fish soup add-ons because I'm a bit crazy like that. Also 2 rice balls to go, which were absolutely delicious even a day later.
Lots of selection of different Kimbap types like beef, spam, tuna, and pork, for a decent price. We got the beef and tuna ones and they were pretty good. You can also choose white or purple rice. The shop is smaller and more suitable for takeout.
I saw this place on Instagram and it looked interesting. You select your choice of instant noodles and toppings for an extra costand they provide you a paper bowl. You then cook it on their special machine. The entire experience was disappointing. I had spicy ramen but during the cooking process the bowl burned. As I was eating the burned spot weakened and all my soup spilled out onto the tray. I also asked for some water tap but they didn't really understand then later said they couldn't provide any and I would have to buy bottled water if I wanted to drink water. So if you can't eat spicy foods this would not be a good experience. Lastly there is no public washroom. Overall, it was interesting but definitely not worth the price for the food you're getting.
We had the mothers day party platter enough for two hungry tall people . Spicy pork, beef, and tuna kimbap were all great, with spicy mayo! The yubus were great as well, very unique. Mango and peach snow regular size served in bowl is great to finish!
They serve different kinds gimbap and bingsu shaved ice. We ordered the tuna, beef and ketogenic, everything was very good. You can pick you're own rice and own sauce which makes it pretty unique compared to other gimbap places. There are only 4 small tables so it is limited but makes sense considering how small the place is. It is very clean and service us very fast and polite. I wish they served alcohol here, they only have soda, juice and water.
A little bit expansive for what you're getting, not as many options as I would have liked to see. No washroom, small dining area, quiet atmosphere.Food: 3/5
