K Town Fried Chicken

A great Korean fried chicken location let down by its slightly blander flavours and dry chicken. First off, the interior is great, modern and clean, it’s a comfortable place to sit and eat. The staff are friendly and the service fast. Prices are reasonable as well given the portions but my main gripe was with the chicken itself. There are a few soft pieces but unfortunately there are more dry ones. The juiciness just isn’t there for most of the pieces which is unfortunate. The signature flavour is also surprisingly dull, with little seasoning. The sweet and spicy flavour is better but still not up to par with other places in my opinion. The overall experience is fine but I was let down by the chicken itself which is the main issue. Still not terrible as it’s definitely passable and good at times but just not as good as expected. Parking is pretty easy to find in their parking lot. Still recommend this place overall!

I have had K Town's fried chicken a couple of times now and tried their spicy soy garlic, green onion & cilantro, and sweet & spicy BBQ on this occasion. Their fried chicken has been inconsistent. Though the flavors match the description reasonably well the spicy soy garlic is overpoweringly spicy relative to the other flavors, the chicken is fairly dry, including the drum stick. It is also different from other fried chicken places in that you will get quite a lot of pieces with large bone and small amount of chicken. Similarly, the rice cake was a bit dry. When looking for your fried chicken fix, this would not be my first go-to place. Maybe this was an off night as they can be fried to be quite tender chicken but the quality of the product has been variable.

My new favourite chicken place! Amazing flavours we tried sweet and spicy and garlic soy garlic soy was definitely the best! So much food for $13!! The chicken was super moist and tender and cooked perfectly! Will definitely be back!

Crispy and juicy Korean fried chicken with a great selection of flavours. Great rice balls and salads. Their 5 piece combo is very affordable and comes with plenty of food. Every time I've eaten here the quality and flavours are consistently great. Totally recommended.Food: 5/5

We were visiting Calgary and drove around looking for a restaurant to check out and found K Town Fried Chicken. WHAT A FIND!! I have never been to this restaurant before and was absolutely surprised by the delicious crunchy well seasoned fried chicken! It was not greasy and it tasted so good!! The accompanying sides were kale ceasar salad and fries. A definite go back and try other dishes. Kid-friendliness: What kid does not like chicken and fries!! Parking: Easy parking infront and side of restaurant.

Ordered takeout. Ordered three orders of half chicken Signature, Snowing, and Cilantro and two orders of the Truffle & Asiago Fries. The fried chicken was very good and is up there for some of the tastiest I had for awhile. The meal was for three of us but the amount I received was enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Recommend if looking for KFC.

K Town certainly exceeded my expectations! For $13 you get 5 pieces of Korean fried chicken thank you for not charging extra for seasoned chicken, salad, fries, and a pop. I liked that they have lots of variety to choose from ~4 different salad options and plenty of fried chicken flavours! I enjoyed the Soy Garlic chicken and the Super Salad quinoa, couscous, tomato & cucumber. The smaller pieces of chicken were a tiny bit dry but the flavour was excellent and for that price I’m coming back often for sure!

Went to K town with my friends since it was recommended by one of them, and my experience was good at the very least. 12$ for a combo meal which would beat any fast food restaurant. I ordered snowing chicken, salad, and rice ball on the side. Space is limited so its better to avoid busy times. Same thing with the parking, limited space and it's shared with other businesses. Overall, it's good but be prepared to wait for parking or table in here.

Have been coming to this place for the last two years .. amazing Korean fried chicken .. the menu is small but if you are a fan of Korean style fried chicken you won’t be disappointed. They have a few beers on the tap. Great cozy place to casually chill with friends and have a quick bite. Would definitely recommend the place

Man this place is dope!!! Great vibe and food. Lots of parking and seating makes it a great place to hangout and eat in. I had the creamy onion chicken and it’s a unique take on KFC. Food came out quick and hot. Flavour was spot on and my fries were extra crispy and yummy. I would say the food is a bit different as they are literally serving you the bone in half chicken so there some extra bones but flavour makes up for it. Give this place a chance !!!
