Ocean View Inn

The hotel experience at the Ocean View feels upgraded for the price. The rooms are spacious and have all the expected amenities. Excellent medium-firm king bed. Decor is a bit dated, but very well maintained. My only complaint is the small bathtub with shower. I would prefer a simple walk-in shower.nnA few rooms have balconies for just $10more, which I enjoyed as the weather was fairly nice.nnThe service is efficient and unobtrusive. The European-style breakfast is simple but good. A plus is the luggage carts to allow unloading your car in one trip.nnGood location walking distance to the harbor two seafood restaurants, beach and downtown Sea Quake brewpub.

This place exceeded my expectations. It was VERY clean, and the workers were kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfy I had a room with two queen beds, and the breakfast was pretty decent as well. It had a quaint coastal hotel vibe with the décor, which I thought was charming. If you're looking for a place to stay near the northern redwoods, I recommend coming here.

Just stayed the night as we were passing through in the spring time. But over this place was a great place to sleep. I'm a person that's very worried about bed bugs and will not step into a room after I find some.nI can confidently say the room was without bed beds and my wife and I slept great here in room 215. The place is a little dated but considering this is not a big city, I'm one that's not bothered by that.nThe breakfast is casual and normal as you'd expect with the basics. And going for a walk to the light house after breakfast is great.nnFor those who car the bathroom was clean and water pressure and heat was also good-great.nnThanks for a clean room and a nice stay.

The Ocean View Inn is an incredible value for the price. Everything was very clean and service was excellent. Location is quite convenient right on 101. Breakfast was plentiful though continental. Included a variety of bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs plus coffee with good creamer, tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, and juice. We paid just over $100 for a suite with 3 queen beds decent mattresses, I’ve slept on way worse. If you’re on a budget you’ll be thrilled.

The inn was an amazing place to stay at. The rooms are super clean and smell very fresh. There is a reclining chair in the room which is a game-changer for me after a long day of hiking. The beds are super comfortable and the whole place is very authentic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi for anyone who needs to get online while there. There is also A LOT of room around the sink and a coffee maker too. The view is amazing as it is next to the ocean. The breakfast was also very delicious and there is a little guide book that is in the room on the table which goes over everything you need to know. Overall, this was an amazing hotel which deserves these 5 stars!
