This place is worth for a day stay. If you are interested in clam digging then probably it would be much more interesting to visit. We had a very good view from our room. Staffs r courteous. Rooms are clean though very old. Every single aspect of hotel is old still they have done their best to maintain it better.

Great place with excellent service and lovely views. While it is an older property it is in great shape and my friends and I enjoyed our stay. I didnt love the restaurant, the food was okay, some better than others, but for the most part our stay was awesome. The fireplaces in the rooms are an extra nice touch. Beach access nearby.

we have been coming to the Ocean Crest for dinners once or twice a year for many years, and have never been disappointed.  The location is beautiful, on a high bluff over the Pacific, with great sunsets.  The food is generally excellent. I had a terrific duck breast with sour cherries, others in our party had spicy cioppino, good lamb chops, and shrimp scampi. Service is friendly and but overbearing.  Remarkable to find such a high quality meal in an isolated  part of the Washington coast, far from any big town.  Friends have stayed at the resort and enjoyed it- a good destination if you want a very quiet place with literally miles of beach to walk on and great food.

They have recently updated the decor in the rooms and looks very quaint. Have been coming here for years and they are so friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views of the ocean, perfect place to stay for razor clamming etc. They have a beautiful indoor pool and recently redone restaurant. highly recommend.

Will definitely stay here again. We had a double queen on the top floor. Fireplace, balcony and a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Everything we ordered was wonderful. We ordered dinner to go so we could eat in the room. With the 15% off for being a hotel patron, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. Not sure why anyone would call it expensive unless they aren't used to Seattle prices. The view from the restaraunt and our room included beach and trees. Wonderful combination. Cozy bed and linens. Decor is dated but clean and pleasant. I enjoyed the pool in the lodge and wish I had known about the spa. Would have tried a massage. EVERY staff nember was friendly and helpful. Clerks, hostess, maids, chef, all seemed to enjoy their work. We took advantage of the "stay 2 nights get the 3rd free".
