Quinault Sweet Grass Hotel

My girlfriend, 8 month old son and myself stayed here for our first vacation. I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of really expensive places (Hilton, Trump, Wynn) . Not one of those places measure up to the level of customer service I received here. They greeted us with a smile on their faces and loved to play with our son at the front desk trying to make him laugh. There were two of the friendliest security guards on hand. They chatted with us and made us feel right at home. It made us feel safe seeing them do routine rounds to make sure everything was in good standing including our vehicles in the parking lot. They were awesome about making crib accommodations for our son to sleep in. I’m sad we only got one day to stay here. Next time we will be staying for a few more days at Ocean Shores because of our experience at his hotel. Huge thanks to that wonderful staff.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Free breakfast coupon for Emily's restaurant. Which by the way was filling and delicious. I especially would like to mention the housekeeping staff. A very nice and efficient staff. They always made sure we were well stocked and well taken care of for our extended stay. I would reccomend this place to anyone. Fancy? No. And there's nothing wrong with that. A nice place, a nice staff and comfortable accommodations. Well done Sweet Grass!

The second I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by an enthusiastic staff and immediately felt at ease about traveling with a baby. Upon checking in, we were told we would get a bigger room to accommodate the crib the hotel allowed my son to use for our stay. Everything was done seamlessly and in such a friendly way that I’m sad we weren’t able to stay longer. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature for our 8 month old’s first experience with swimming. The environment of the property was quiet and comfortable. I appreciated both the security guards I experienced because of their throrough inspections of the property and their friendliness with me and my boyfriend. I’ve stayed in extremely expensive hotels and while the furniture, decorating, etc is more modern and likely more expensive, those places have nothing on customer service compared to here. I recommend it over the casino if you’re just looking to chill out for a little while with family.

Meh. We got a decent deal on a room, but couldn't imagine staying here ever again. Pros: cheap, clean, free breakfast vouchers for the casino, nice enough staff. Cons: I'll probably forget all, but mainly: - check-in time was 4pm. We showed up and were told "that's when check-in starts, but your room won't be ready until about 5pm" - holes in the wall that appears to be from something that was once mounted there - like about 20 of these holes around the room. - pool heater broken. Too cold for the kids to swim in. This sucked because the pool was a key reason we booked here. They did let us go use the casino pool instead. - no view at all from second floor - open leaking area with a dirty bucket in the hallway - a lot of the Furniture, counters in the bathroom, etc, are old and worn or warped In the end, the place seemed clean enough, which is always table stakes for me, but beyond that don't expect much.

Paid for an ocean view but the small window in the corner gave a view of the building next to us. On the plus side, the girls at reception desk were very pleasant and friendly
