Shilo Inns Ocean Shores

My family has been to Ocean Shores before and stayed at another hotel nearby. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night after finding a large knife under the mattress so this time, we chose Shilo Inn because it is an established name. We only stayed overnight and our rate was a little shy of $200. While I know most of that was for the nice view and easy access to the beach, I will never choose to stay at this hotel again. Aside from the outdate rooms, our room was extremely muggy because our a/c didn't work. Our beds were not fully made and I only found out about this from looking at online photos on their website. We had furniture that was ripped and at one point we came back to the room and someone had left a pile of blankets outside our door. The music and whispering through the speakers in the hallways is creepy and there are missing tiles in the lobby that have just been covered by floor mats. The room above us was extremely loud late into the night and our balcony door did not lock properly. The staff was nice enough and they were able to resolve an issue with another guest quickly which is good I guess but overall, I would not recommend.

We went here for Mother's Day bench and it was a beautiful and delicious feast, with the sweetest staff. Family friendly and very welcoming, even without reservations for this event people could pre-register for. Also the only restaurant with a view of ocean shores. My family and I had a great visit!

Great place to stay while at Ocean Shores. They have room service an indoor pool and a restaurant on site. It is close to the beach and shopping. Family and dog friendly. We always enjoy our stay at the Shilo Inn.

I love Shilo Inns. I've visited this one, as well as a couple in Oregon, before this trip. I never knew they accepted pets. We had to take care of some business in Ocean Shores and couldn't leave our dogs behind so this was a pleasant surprise. It's right on the water, so great location and the food was pretty good. The reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because we heard a lot of noise, probably from it being an older building. I forgot toothpaste and the most convenient place was the IGA. These aren't big things, just enough not to get five stars. I will definitely be back and will stay at Shilo Inns.

Used to love this place. Not anymore. Coffee pot and tray dirty. Only 3 cream/ sugar packets. Dust in some areas of the room 1/4 inch thick. Hairs in the tub. Splashes of gunk on tv screen. Definitely showing its age. 😕 Heard constant stomping above for hours at night. Disappointing.
