Oakville Public Library - Clearview Neighbourhood Branch

The Oakville Library on the whole is an incredible community space and service. And the Clearview Branch is a special crown in the Library's jewel. It is a true community branch, where the librarians are able and do! take the time to not only learn patron's names, but also their preferences. They are so dedicated and caring and filled with ideas and resources and are so passionate about what they do. We are so lucky to have them. I will often come in and be greeted to a librarian having books set aside for my daughter and for me, having found something they know we would love as they were on their travels around the library. We love this library and truly value it and need it as a community in Clearview. Not only is it a great place to get books, encourage kids to read and improve literacy, but also a cool place to do 3D printing, and a really important space for people to use computers and wi fi that they may not have at home as well as a place to cool off in the summer or get warm in the winter. We love this Branch so much! Special shout out to Sohni who has been an incredible librarian who has really been an incredible resource for my tween daughter lately. The level of care is second to none. We always hope for even more programming for our beloved Branch.

This library is not quiet at all.nThe employees chat with people loudly all day. A lot of private lessons and teachers are there.nI don't recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to study.

It's been around 4.5 years that we r going to library every other day It's fun,educational and safe place to spend time with ur kids. I love library especially oakville public library ,clearview branch

This is one of our favorite library branches. Very helpful and friendly staff.

love this little library! it's always clean, staff are amazing and they ran pre-covid amazing programs for kids : I cant wait until they can have programs again!
