An absolute favorite place to visit if you love to read or like a quiet place to work on something... We my kids and myself visit this every week sometime twice... And especially before going on road trips as we love to read more than watching anything on the screen. You can also request books online and pick them up to save time...
While being a nice library, bring headphones if you intend on studying or reading hear. It can get quite loud with lots of young kids. It does have a 3D printer which has been very fun to use and experiment with. Many computers are available here so as long as you can find ways to block out the noise, you have everything you need there.
Wonderful library if you want to pick something up and go. Staff do what they can, but are pretty nice people. To do any sort of work or reading, it is way too loud as the students from the connected high school and community centre just assume the place is theirs.
Pretty noisy for a Library but hey, it's in a school with students using it for socializing and research. I have never had a problem with that as I do not use this location for "quiet time" I look up what I want ahead of time online to see if it is available. Once I get there I go in, grab it and I'm on my way. Never really get to engage with the staff but they always seem busy and sometimes we will get an acknowledged
My son uses this facility to prepare for his school work. I take him here twice a week to study and read. It’s a nice place and quiet with nice people too. I’m sure this will pay off for him in the long run. Just wanted to give this library a 5 star for being clean and quiet and making myself and my son few right at home. Thanks Roger
The staff are friendly. The library has decent supply of books. You also have access to Hayden school books. You can also find reasonable kids library programs. They always have some activities for the kids at their activity centres. One negative. This branch is not open on Sundays!
Unfortunately need to agree with these other reviews. This “library” is the noisiest place you can go to try and study. Kids running around screaming. It’s like this all the time, during school and off school seasons. It’s a shame the librarians do n-o-t-h-i-n-g to help make this environment suitable for the purpose it was created. Do not recommend coming here if you want to get any work done. It’s also dirty. Saw some long creepy crawlers moving around in the booths. Wanted to vomit.
My kids and I have used this location many times. Every staff member has been so kind and helpful. Even have helped the kids to learn self checkout during quarantine to keep them safe!
Amazing customer service! They even get my 10YO super engaged in reading!! Love the library!
Worst library ever. The noise level is unbelievable . Kids running around yelling at the top of their voicesand parents did not do anything to curb the noise. The library staffs also did not say anything. I went there to get some quiet time but instead got a headache and high blood pressure.
