Such a lovely car purchasing experience in such a stressful time.. vehicle was written off due to an accident and our insurance company was moving extremely fast with the settlement. This would be great normally however ; this also put a tight crunch on finding a new vehicle as rental coverage would end. We booked a test drive for a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta on Saturday October 1st. Walking into the dealership we were immediately greeted by our lovely sales person Pedro. He immediately introduced himself and welcomed us into the dealership. Pedro was very accommodating for my self as well as my fiancé and two year old daughter. Pedro’s Knowledge on VW vehicles really showed shortly after arriving for the test drive. He was very knowledgeable on the features as well as the perks of the vehicle we were interested in. After arriving back from our test drive , we were again greeted by Pedro upon entering. This may be a very small and simple thing but it really shows his care and passion for what he does. While we were gone, Pedro was able to do up some “ numbers” for us. He had them all written down clearly on a document , bulletin points highlighting all important numbers as well as different payment options etc. After discussing these numbers , we picked and option and were immediately taken into meet our Finance Manager Selin. Selin was also very accommodating. She was not in anyway pushing towards one payment or an other. She simply explained she would submit the “ deal” off to the bank and she would let us know any adjustments. She advised us she would reach out asap with an update. This was all on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm so we did not expect to hear back from anyone until at least Monday. Selin took the time to send us an email shortly before 4 pm letting us know that she’s still waiting to hear back and will follow up Monday. Again, this is a very small and simple thing but it really showed her care for us as customers. Monday morning unfortunately was a lot of back and fourth from the banks so Selin was unable to complete the deal before going off work for a few days. She still took the time Monday to send us follow up emails with the status of everything. On Tuesday , Rachel reached out and advised us who she was and that she was filling in and would be working with us to complete everything. She explained the approval in such great detail and with so much financial knowledge. Our deadline to return or rental was October 5th. The staff at OREGAN’S VW were able to work all the hoops and get us on the road in our new car in such a TIGHT deadline. I cannot truly express how great our experience has been. Thank you SO MUCH Pedro, Selin and Rachel. You guys truly turned a good experience into an AMAZING ONE.
I had to sell my car and opted out of getting a Volkswagen for my next car because of my experience here. I took my car here because of hearing screeching when I brake. They told me my brakes needed to be replaced which I did at their location. I paid almost $1000 replacing these brakes but yet 3 months later, the screeching noise started happening all over again. After paying that much money for new brakes, they should last you a long time, not end up worn out until metal on metal friction is happening like brakes that people have for 10 years. After taking my car to other mechanics to see what’s wrong, it appeared the parts connected to my brakes have been rusted out and needed replacing a long time ago. I would have gladly replaced these parts when replacing my brakes had I been told there was an issue with them the first time around. I’d prefer to spend one big lump sum and ensure my brakes will last another year +. Instead the mechanics never mentioned anything about them and just waited for them to damage my brakes again so I could have another appointment and pay it all over again. I should be able to trust that the mechanics will find whatever is wrong with my car and make sure all of it is fixed. Not only fix part of it and lead me to be back just a few months later. When I returned to them about this, they told me I’d have to replace everything again and pay for the entire thing. I would have preferred to not pay for new brakes all over again since I was trusting they fixed everything the first time around, I wouldn’t have to be back. They do a half a** job, don’t fixing the root cause of the problem just to get you back there for more appointments. Even if I write this review here, they will just comment saying sorry to hear, contact us so we can hear more. If they really cared about customer satisfaction THEY would call ME/the person who left a bad review. In the end, I looked at VW for my next car, but after my experience with their service, I decided to go with BMW instead.
100% customer service experience. Pedro in sales is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes buying a vehicle from O’Regan’s VW a true pleasure. This company takes pride in delivering an awesome vehicle and shopping experience. WOW
Firstly, thank you so much Selin and Justin to help us to buy our car. Customer service is awesome. Justin is the person who pick the call in one second. In my case, I called to justin at 3pm and asked for appointment which one I can get as soon as possible. Being a teacher, my schedule didn’t allow me to go before 5pm. He booked my last appointment on same day at 6pm. We had a great conversation and he suggest us to take a drive test. We really like the car. We requested to justin can we get the car 2023 Volkswagen Jetta trendline2023 he booked another test drive for that car. We decided on same moment we have to buy it. Justin introduced to us with Selin she is financial manager . Her work process is very quick. She explained to us and start our application process on same day. She did everything for us and her way to explain the customer is fantastic. We got our car. We are very happy and enjoy our new ride. 10/10 customer service. I recommend everyone if you looking for something good. Give them a chance to help you guys.
Everyone at VW made my experience welcoming, money is tight for me and I had to do some savings, with the O'Regan's Team, we were able to come to a comfortable price for a Lease that fits within my budget. You have me for another 4 years, this is now my third VW Jetta and they just keep getting better and better. Thank you and I am back with the VW Family.
I have been dealing with O'Regan's Volkswagon for many years. I have always been very pleased with their service and Pedro was a very helpful and attentive sales consultant for my recent purchase.
Regarding Service at this dealer I am amazed on how good their customer service is trying anything to accommodate. I went with my car for a quick installation of a couple of pieces under my warranty and had my twins asleep in the car. When I was about to take the stroller out they realized and told me they would do it right there with no need for me to take my twins out of the car. They brought the pieces to install and they were quiet so they wouldn't wake them up! It took them 15 minutes and my babies were still asleep. As a parent that is worth more than anything. Thanks for your amazing service team! A very happy customer with sleepy babies.
My partner and I had such a great experience with Pedro and Selin at O'Regan's VW Halifax! Would highly recommend these two. So professional, warm, and friendly throughout the entire experience. Both went the extra mile for us and also made sure we felt safe and comfortable with the whole Covid-19 protocols. Pedro even made personalized videos about the vehicles we were interested in before we arrived and sent them via text. Glad to have Wolfgang in our family!
Today I came for an appointment to fix the air bag sensor. I met Dwayne Smith, a same receptionist who quoted me around $300 plus tax for the airbag $100 and labor cost $200, so it should be around $350 total after tax. When we were on call, he said it will take only two hours, but I had to wait 6 hours today, starting from 9:15am this morning until 3:15pm this evening. The bill came out at $485, which was ridiculous. I asked him about the big difference from the price and that is not what he told me before, he told me that I was wrong, that I just run by memories and he runs by documents and papers. I pulled out the receipt from the previous appointment which has the time and his name on it. He showed me an attitude and said that he had a bad day and he won’t argue about this, so he will accept my $350. That was a really poor customer service for a formal dealership like Volkswagen, I felt disappointed!!!
The people working in the service department always go above and beyond. Special shout out to Dwayne, who always remembers my name and makes me feel like a valued customer.
