Fun indoor playground for kids 0-6. My kids really enjoyed the ‘track’ and cars they provide. Also- not busy at all on a wintery day! There are also a good selection of toys. Kids had a great time
I like O'Leary pool for its cleanliness, staff and amenities given the size of the facility. Free electronic lockers are also a huge plus. The only knock is that it lacks some of the jazzy stuff in the newer facilities and the steam room is down at present. I'd give it a 4.5 Update: 2024-02-05: Steam room is up and running.
If you like your local Lifeguards to behave more like Security, and act more like a 'Force' than a 'Service' , then this is the pool for you. Also, I'm not sure why, but there are always several fully clothed people in the pools. Yes, clothed from head to toe. Not swimsuits, but normal outside clothing. I don't know, maybe the pool is now a laundromat for low-income people too? 1 star lost for each of these.
Why are there always fully clothed adults in the pool? You have rules for "Proper Swim Attire" right? An adults skin colour or religion has nothing to do with not bringing proper swim attire to a public pool. And why do they always go into the pool dry, without a shower first? And no, it's not racist to ask them to bring proper swim attire, as there actually IS proper swim attire for "those" adults. Wal-Mart sells it. Also those adults should be held accountable for a pre-shower as well. PS, I'm brown too, and they know exactly what they are doing, and they know they can just say "racism" or "religion" and get away with it. No race or religion says you have to swim in your street clothes. Figure it out already.
I love olreay. Good pool with good staff. The pool is always warm
I swim laps here at least 3 times a week. It's a great place with really nice staff. It has a large swimming pool, a really good dive pool, hot tub/whirlpool, steam room, and an incredible waterfall to massage away your aches and pains. I forgot to mention they have a waterside and toddlers pool too. Top notch facility!!!
O'Leary is the best swimming pool in Edmonton. The facilities is awesome and staff is very Co-operative.
Very nice facility. It is small compared to other leisure centers but it has everything you need. I have not used the gym, only the aquatic center. There is a pool for lane swimming that can be used even while lessons are ongoing, there is a deep pool with three trampolines at different heights. There is a very nice kiddy pool, hot tub, and steam room. The change rooms are nice and clean.
I really enjoy this place. The staff are helpful and friendly. The facility is clean and it has all u need: waterfall pool, diving tank, pool, hottub and a steam room. The gym is also good and has limited selection of equipments, but enough to do a full body workout.
