Not a bad experience at all! I've walked by this place for years without going in and I think I regret that decision. It was a great little spot service was fast staff was friendly. It Could have possibly been a little cleaner inside but it didn't bother me much. The food was great portions were big and the price was perfect. My friend and I shared the whole meal and we were stuffed with leftovers for $17 each plus tip! I'd certainly suggest it for a great Chinese food restaurant right on Saint Catherine's.

Juuuust OK. Let's start with the positives,if you've had along day and are looking for some Chinese food to fill you and then some...this is the perfect place for you.The portions are great for the price.I also liked that the food came straight out of the kitchen piping hot,this,coupled with the quiet and nostalgic design,gives off a feeling of home cooked meals at a hidden spot,even though it's on St Catherine.That aside,the food wasn't good,I ordered pork spring rolls and the taste of the filling felt like it was just reheated,I only enjoyed the outer shell.As for the Beef Hotpot,I would say the beef bits were very tender,but the flavour felt uniform for the entire dish,besides the beef there was a truckload of tofu hidden in the dish and the other parts of the beef felt like I was chewing rubber..With all of this in mind, I wouldn't recommend investing.

Classic little chinese restaurant with lots of choices. Not bad but nothing extraordinary either. Enjoyed it overvall. Prices and portions were also great.  We ended up paying 45$ for a huge meal for two. We enjoyed salt and pepper calamari and general tao chicken the most. The chowmein was huge!

The service was quite good and friendly but the food wasn't it. I got the seasfood hotpot with vermicelli no.38. It was flavorful but I didn't like the breaded tofu. It wasn't a bad dish but I wasn't a big fan of it. The noodles were constantly breaking, the soup was too thin, the Calamari was overcooked and rubbery. If I do end up going there again, I would not get this again.

For me, the place is a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. All of the food had the same flavour. It's like soy sauce all over the place. The queue is long, and I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The dish is mediocre at best and has a flat flavour. I would not return to this place. For me, it's a one-time thing. The waiters and servers are quite friendly.

Very good food but so so to sit and eat , I prefer to take out , service really nice girl took the order was so nice with a big smile her name is Helen loved her attitude , make me hungry to eat more and go back for more food

Amazing food, friendly service and great prices. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite. And it has vegan options

This is a great location for good Cantonese food for cheaper prices. The food was great and in bigger portions than I expected and they had good service.

Very kind service  I upgraded my chicken combo with fried rice, best combination ever! Definitely recommend to students who are on a budget but also want to fill their stomach.

By far the best General Tao in town. 100% recommend. Crunchy and sour. Peanut butter chicken is also very tasty! Staff is friendly. Love to come here for lunch when i’m in the area.
