We went for lunch and we ordered some of the lunch specials. The beef $10 was really good! Better than the one at the other Korean restaurant we had gone to recently. The pieces are thicker and not just like shredded beef. The pork neck soup that I had was also very good. $8 The dumplings were good, but looked freezer burnt. However, they tasted perfectly fine and the sauce went well with it. I do not remember the price on this one. The sides however weren't as good as the other Korean restaurant we had been to. The atmosphere was... This one had a smell of ash... like a touch of cigarette smoke? It was less bustling, so we had a much quieter food environment. The prices were much better. The server had issues understanding us. It was really easier to just point at the menu and order. We noticed this menu mentioned a lot of what you DO NOT get as opposed to just telling you what you get. So for me, this was a mix of bad and good. Still the prices and the food make it attractive enough that I would return.

Authentic Korean Food.. delicious, good food with the right price, fast service. Definitely will keep coming back.

Honestly the best Korean joint in the city! The spicy grilled pork belly and kimchi stew accommodated by the side dish will fill 2 people with ease! And all for just $21.00! Great family owned restaurant! A hidden gem in my books.

Family run and owned Korean joint. My favorite place for bibimbap in the city. You should try the pancake too! I would come here with an open mind and consider that you aren't gonna get service like the Keg here -- it's a family run Asian restaurant. Be patient with the possible language barrier and know the culture. I love coming here with friends and it is in the heart of the West End. This place is a staple for me and many friends.

The reason the menu is so small is because they will all be your Favorites!! The sides that always come with your meal are a delicious adventure in themselves. The kimchi is fresh, and made by the owner/chefs fine hand. Quite simply the best I've ever had. Must Haves: Beef Bulgogi, PaygeonSeafood and Green Onion Pancake, and the Dumplings fried to perfection, crispy and chewy and Delicious!! A texture dream!!

Must stop by for a bite if you are in the neighborhood or if looking for new place to try on your Friday lunch. They have food plenty of room to dine-in with section designated larger groups… The restaurant does not have a huge menu, but all that is being offered taste great. Money well spent

It was my worst experience with staff of Korean Restaurant. The waitress was nice and friendly. But YOU PLEASE DON'T SPEAK TO THE KITCHEN STAFF. He was very rude. My group was three people. We called Kimbap, Noodles and Korean Pork BBQ. We had 1 bowl of white rice so i asked the kitchen staff for 3 little emptied bowls more. So like we can get food and eat. But the way he re-acted made me felt insulted. He raised his voice as he was yielding to us and asked with a crumby face that " why you guys need 3 bowls?" I was surprised and said we had 3 poeple but he didnt answer so i accidentally said 2 please. Then weirdly he said yes!!! But i meant that he didnt have to speak loudly to us we are customer and we asked really friendly. one more thing that the waitress just stayed at the recipent counter for whole time never walked around the restaurant. Also never passed by to give us the refill. They offer just like dozen or maybe 15 choices of dishes. The price is low in general In my opinion, i wont go back there. Not recommended!!!

Never have to wait, tea and water is brought out quickly every time. Tea is free and she remembers that I don't usually want the tea and only brings it for my husband without being reminded. Reasonable portions for price, amazing side dishes. We head there often!

The prices here are fantastic for lunch. Mom and pop operation, so if it's busy be ready to wait. Overall if you're in the West end you won't get better VFM than here for Korean.
