Signed my boys up for the ninja zone classes. Facilities are very dirty and in need of repair. Coaches don't spot the kids at all. Half the time they aren't even paying attention because they are flirting with the girl coaches or across the gym finding new equipment or mats to use. No prior planning on what the class will do takes place before hand so it is not particularly organized. The ninja zone website says this program is supposed to also teach discipline similar to martial arts, something this facility's version doesn't do at all. No AC so come prepared for that.

Purchased Groupon for my daughter to go here. Right from the very beginning they were very unorganized. Dirty facility like most people on here have said. I purchased two goupons for 5 months and was told after 2 months that they would not be able to honor. When I spoke to the manager (possibly owner) he said that we were only supposed to get 1 month and that Groupon really screwed things up for him. My response was and still remains I don't care. I paid for a product and experience t to get what I paid for, the fact that you feel cheated by Groupon does not change that. His response was that "then I don't care about your problem. At this point I lost my temper and said some pretty nasty things, all of which I meant and and glad I said. Not only is this man a bad manager but he is also a punk. Thanks for stealing my money and disappointing my child!

The two head coaches are phenomenal! However, the building is in disrepair and always dirty. I have a young daughter attending classes and the younger her coach is, the less they care what the kids learn. Recently had an empty building with all the parents in the parking lot with no idea why classes weren't going on. I've checked out the other gymnastics classes in spokane and this is a fair value, but if you want your child to really learn something, you'll have to pay the big $$. Surprising we don't have more gymnastics places for our area.

As a former gymnast, with two small daughters who are aspiring gymnasts, I felt I did my due diligence when selecting a gym upon moving back to Spokane. We were able to try out Northwest Gymnastics as my daughter (7 years old) had an evaluation and was recommended for level 4. From what I saw of her 3+ hour practice, she was receiving proper instruction and after it was over informed me that she really enjoyed it. Next up was a trial class for my 5 year old who could do advanced tricks like back handsprings and pullovers on bars. Her instructor was terrible-there was a lack of coaching, time wasted by setting up centers that could have easily been done prior to class starting, and worst of all the way she talked to these 5 and 6 year old girls was not appealing. I was torn, because I wanted my girls at the same gym but this second instructor was not going to work. I wanted to bring my concerns up to the owners so I left a text with Mike, the owner. It took him over a week to respond to me and call. I brought up my concerns and while he showed interest, he seemed to dismiss my concerns by saying the instructor was “young” and that he could recommend other instructors. He told me he would have an instructor by the name of “Alexis” call me. She never did. I had a feeling it would go that way, so I enrolled my littlest at another gym in the area and proceeded with my oldest in level 4 at Northwest Gymnastics. I paid $275 for the month, $10 on a snack card to use while she is there, and $50 for a pair of grips. She went two days and then cried every time we took her. I don’t know if going from no gymnastics to 10.5 hours a week was too much, but she cried. Her coach suggested the Xcel team, and when we showed up, she cried. I have three other children so I can’t stay and watch 10.5 hours of class per week. I called and once again left a message for the owners, Mike and Nancy, hoping to work something out since I had paid so much money upfront and she only went three times. I let a week pass with no response before I reached out to my daughter’s coach who told me she was going to have Nancy call me. Nothing. Again I left another message with the front desk. No return call. In all, I left four messages and none were returned. I really hate to give a locally owned business such a negative review, but they obviously don’t care much about their business or keeping parents satisfied with their investments because they just can’t be bothered. So disappointing.
