Great environment and experience! I signed up for the personal training sessions for added motivation and have found them to be absolutely amazing! Not only am I learning a lot but I am having a lot of fun too all while making fitness gains. Carrie is a pleasure to work with and I always look forward to my sessions. All the staff are very friendly and super-welcoming! I recommend this gym to all women looking for a comfortable and positive environment to work out in.
Love this gym, it’s a great place and a great environment. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Getting personal trainer sessions with Breanne has played a huge role in my progress. She is very knowledgeable and will help you achieve your goals. She’s very friendly and personable and it makes working out with her a lot of fun. Would recommend for anyone starting out who wants to feel more comfortable in the gym and build up their strength to see Breanne and get your sessions in with her.
I have been a member at the Northgate location for over 15 years and I love it. Tina, the general manager, is friendly, helpful and very professional. The staff is outstanding and ready to demonstrate the equipment, answer questions and suggest classes that will enhance any exercise routine. The gym is very clean and tidy and I thank Helen, in housekeeping, for making me feel safe during this time of Covid and seasonal influenza. I am grateful for such an amazing gym!
Love this place. All girls gym, lots of support from all the workers. I’ve had great experiences with Shay and Breanne. Shay is super positive and friendly, and great at showing the proper techniques if you have questions on how to use a machine. I highly recommend booking a personal training session with Breanne, she is super motivational and always has the best individualized fitness routine planned out for the session!
It's an amazing place with variety and some really good classes. I like it, it's clean ,neat and a diverse place. The staff are very nice!! My only concern is the door that is open to the mall all the time. I joined with HER GYMVMT as it's a female only gym and taking in consideration I'm hijabi, I have some expectations regarding privacy and limits of access to the gym. I found it different and not up to my expectations as I joined other female only gyms in Canada.
Myriam St. Germain is the BEST personal trainer and person . She is very experienced and has so much knowledge to give. She has definitely changed the vibe of this gym since she started here. I’m very happy with my progress with her and excited to continue on my fitness journey with her guidance.
I emailed the gym to cancel my membership, and then was told I had to come in to cancel, fine that’s okay. I was also told that I wasn’t part of a contract so when I canceled I was then told I needed to pay 99$ plus tax plus this month and next month of my payments, which is weird because I was again told in the email I wouldn’t have to pay anything other than my month that was due. So I go in and explain to the lady why I needed to cancel my membership and she kept telling me I could just freeze it and come back when I have the time which I don’t, it’s out of my way now that I’m not coming into Edmonton on a daily basis. They lied to me about the amount I had to pay to cancel a membership. I would recommend a different gym that won’t make you pay 140$ to cancel a membership, that accommodates people who can’t afford to pay 140$ To cancel a membership. AWFUL service was provided to me and I’m happy to take my services to a better gym.on top of that pretty sure they charge my account twice a month and not monthly so I will be screenshooting if any other payments are taken out of my account as I was charged twice now for the month of July, beginning of the month and again to cancel and have 2 gym payments taken out from May if it continues I will be demanding a refund from this company as your stealing my money. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m very upset and disappointed.
I went there to get my daughter registered, and I was amazed by the warm welcome and the dynamism of the staff there, especially that employee I believe that she's from Palestine…she is an angel. The way she treated my daughter was exceptionally cordial and beyond imagination, which motivated my daughter to commit to a workout plan. That is a must-see and a must-go for all ladies! Thumbs up!
I enjoy the atmosphere which brings women from different cultures and upbringing together to support each other in achieving their goals, not to mention the amazing women like my fitness instructor Myriam, who dedicate their lives work to helping women achieve their fitness goals and start their journey to healthy living. They guide , advice and assist u along the way. So I want to sat thanks to all the instructors at Her GYMVMT, not only are we a club or group were all a family trying to lead happier and healthier life.
I have very nice service from Mona she is a perfect human being. She is very professional in her service and she do Wonderful work for her company. I enrolled my both daughters after the saw the professionalism of the staff and how They provide perfect services to thier Customers. Mona is best of the best. Good job!
