North Sound Dermatology

This is a very lovely place ! Not just the surroundings, but the people who will work with you. They are kind and caring. I had some bad experiences at other places so I was extremely nervous about trying another place I knew nothing about. All my fears were calmed even just in the waiting room. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat and we had a fun wait. And the doctors are so very kind and concerned. I was treated with such high regard. I'm looking forward to continuing here for a long and hopefully healthy time ! I highly recommend this clinic . You won't be disappointed.

This is the 6th dermatological office in the last 10 months dealing with a complexity of skin issues. Dr. Song is the first dermatologist of these who has been knowledgeable and thorough enough not to just treat the presenting symptoms, but to aggressively look for root causes. He listens to my questions and answers them graciously (as info is available). He is working with me as an individual, dealing with my specific needs and concerns, and has a plan and direction for my diagnosis & treatment. His medical assistant is also very supportive and helpful in making sure any questions I have outside of an appointment are answered. I'm consistently treated with respect and sensitivity by all staff as well. I am grateful.

They got my son in right away (next day) when I told them the "benign cyst" was infected and needed to be removed. They decided it was "healing fine and didn't need removal" despite the fact that it has been infected TWICE and will be again (obviously) my family gets these on occasion and they ALWAYS end up needing removal sooner or later. Now I'm going to have to find a new dermatologist who actually listens.

Have been going to North Shore Dermatology in Smokey Point for the last few months as follow up for some skin cancer surgeries. The staff and particularly Dr. Park are friendly, personable, helpful and genuinely caring. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone with skin concerns!

Very nice office, seems to run smoothly. They offer a small coffee bar. The first doctor I saw was an older man (forgot his name) and I wasn't impressed with him. I don't feel he was very thorough and seemed dismissive. So I saw Dr. Bassett for my next visit and she was much more thorough and knowledgeable and I feel confident in her. I will definitely keep seeing her.
