North Shore Cottages

Great location. But.... The cottages are rundown and need repair with stained walls and a ripped couch. We do not dare take our shoes off as the carpet has not been vacuumed for several weeks. The linens on the bed are stained and smell musty. I wouldn't dare remove the blankets on the bed for fear of what the mattress looks like. The fridge is leaking, the BBQ did not work properly and we had to ask for the grass to be cut so we could enjoy being outside as we clearly do not want to spend more time than needed inside. Overall, the cottages are rundown and are in desperate need of repair and we would have preferred to spend our vacation in a tent in the pouring rain.

location is the main point for the cottages here. landscape and access to amenities are really good. perfect place for enjoying nature while remaining close to civilization. in terms of cleanliness of the cottage, overall it is ok, however, when it comes to bed sheets and clean sheets, forget about it. the blankets are probably found on the side of the road somewhere and they just put it here. pillows are disgusting with numouros stains all over it. mattress is garbage too, you will feel all the springs on your back when you get up. besides the sleeping issues and dirty beds, everything else is pretty amazing. Don't forget to bring lots of bed sheets.or better yet, sleep in your sleeping bad.
