Edelweiss Motel- Port Elgin ON

I was so happy to check in here for a three night stay, but then the noise started at about midnight. Doors slamming every few minutes, strange sounds like furniture being moved around ??, showers running at 2:30 am through really loud plumbing, people walking heavily through the hallways — I have no idea why it was so loud here because there aren’t that many guests. I was woken up every few minutes until about 3am, which was really frustrating. But absolutely everything else about this place is perfect! The rooms are lovely, the balcony is perfect, the fridge and freezer are surprisingly spacious given their small size, and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was very clean. I just wish the building was quieter at night. My sense from talking with the other guests is that some of the rooms’ washroom doors don’t fit well in the frame and have to be slammed, and the unit I am in is right above the front door which ALWAYS slams and has a loud wood deck entry. And the building’s construction amplifies every little thing. EDIT: My last two nights here were a dream, and no significant issues with noise. I still don’t understand why that first night was so bad, other than perhaps it was one group of guests who could not settle down. You do have to get used to regular daytime noise hollow floors, kids, etc. But I would definitely come back!

A very clean and quiet place to stay. We enjoyed a couple of days in early October. The location is across from the beach with many local places to dine, shop and hike. The sunsets are magnificent and we had a wonderful getaway! Thank you, Paradise Inn!Rooms: 5/5

We had the presidential suite with another couple. It was perfect. Clean spacious room with all amenities provided. If you have kids, this is the perfect spot. Only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely book here again.

Loved the Paradise Inn. We were the only ones there on a cold November weekend. Everything is very clean, with a mini-fridge in the room. Contactless check-in with easy. I love the location--right on the beach. Beds were comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Hands free doesn't work in the customer service business. Not staying in a hotel for sometime I just assumed hotels were the same as covid times.Towels and linens on request left outside the door no housekeeping til you vacate. WRONG!! I called around after I came home one night early.Superior hotels offering full services at better prices.It is easy for them to take $1000 for 3 nights and not have to look at you.When the water needs to run for 15 .minutes to get warm enough to shower,and you are allowed 4 coffee pods for 2 people for 3 nights something is wrong here.I knew I was going to be on big brother with all the cameras but I didn't need signs all the way for reminders.Look at your cameras of me leaving a day early,won't be back.Its the little things that mean the most.To musty to be enjoyable.

Had such a lovely stay at the Paradise Inn .... beautiful day at the beach ...sun kissed, sunset and fireworks. The room was so fresh, bright and clean. Slept so well in the comfortable bed... ..like sleeping on a cloud. I will definitely be back Rooms: 5/5

Nice, clean hotel right across from the beach. Has a cottage feel to it. Beautiful common area patio with great views of the beach and the sunsets. I would return.

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The location and convenience of Paradise inn was unbeatable. Clean, well equipped room and a common kitchen area was just perfect with 2 kids. The sunset from the deck was spectacular and we played family board games while watching it in the evening. Added such a nice touch to our stay. We also rented a SUP while we were there and it was very convenient.  Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to book our vacation and will highly recommend Paradise Inn to friends and family! We recently celebrated my Mom's 80th birthday here and the accommodation and location could not have been better. The rooms had everything we needed, the entire hotel was very clean and the owners thought of everything guests would need. My family and I would highly recommend this Inn.Rooms: 5/5
