With an upcoming wedding, my dad, soon to be brother-in-law and myself went to Nordstrom to get suits. Thankfully, we had the pleasure of working with Spencer to find the perfect suits for everyone! He knew exactly what suits/colors worked for each of us and made the whole process easy, efficient, and spot-on. We all walked out with perfect suits and big smiles. Highly recommend Spencer!

If you need an evening dress for the mother of the groom, ask for Nya in evening dresses! She was amazing. Not only did she listen to my needs but she went out of the way to find the dress that was in the back and wasn't on the floor. She selected a wide variety of dresses and found just the right dress for my comfort, style and price point. I will be returning to ask her about accessories when I get closer to the wedding.  She was so honest, kind, patient and laughed with me.

If you need shoes, ask for Giselle!  I recently purchased two pairs of shoes one for a gift and one for me.  She could not have been anymore helpful, pleasant and patient.  This is the customer service that others should make their goal!  Thank you Giselle, you made my experience so easy and pleasant.  Great Job!  Nordstrom, she is great!  BUT - Please validate parking - especially if you make some purchases!  That would be great!

What happened? Nordstrom used to have the best customer service. First, they stopped validating parking. Now, whenever I need to return something purchased on the app, they make me take each individual item to its respective department. There is no one to help. No one is supervising the sales floors. I used to run in on my way home, take care of a return, and be out in 10 minutes with validated parking. Now I have to travel to multiple floors trying to find a human to process a return. A sales associate suggested I complete the feedback survey. When I typed in the web address, it says, “ Thank You” as though I had already completed it. Tried calling customer service from the Nordstrom app and the number didn’t connect. What in the world has happened to Nordstrom? Large department stores are relics of an ancient shopping experience, gasping their last dying breaths but I hoped Nordstrom would survive. If their goal was alienating a longtime customer, they succeeded. I have made my last return.

I walked in today to purchase a Chanel perfume, which I found within minutes. Unfortunately, despite there being seven sales associates present—all of whom were not helping other customers—none of them greeted me or offered assistance. I needed help since the perfume was a gift and I wanted it wrapped. Because no one acknowledged me, I walked out and bought the perfume at Macy’s in Yonkers. I was greeted before I could even get thought the door at Macys.
