No. 1 Dumpling

Super charming man let me feel his fresh dumplings before steaming them up. I didn't ask for them to be in soup but it was great anyway. I had some salty, spicy noodles too, and he tossed some pork and mushrooms in. Just let the man feed you!

Tasty food. Dumplings can be cooked in 3 ways - steamed, boiled or pan fried. They are all good. Appetizers are good too! Tasty cucumber, cloud ears and soybean noodle. Try having the dumplings with soy sauce and a bit of chili oil as northern China would eat - good accompaniment.

Such friendly service. Very attentive and delicious dumplings, both in restaurant and when bought frozen. Great prices. Yum yum

I had the chef recommended pork and cilantro steamed dumplings. They were fantastic! I want to go there again to pick some up to steam at home. I think its more of a place to buy great dumplings than eat them there but i was hungry and the basic decor was fine.

Mostly unappetizing unfortunately. It feels like someone who used to cook at home decided to make a restaurant out of it. The XiaoLongBao were super doughy and flavorless. The Onion Pancakes were super dry and weirdly spiced. All in all would not return or recommend.

The wonton soup is amazing, most flavourful wontons I’ve ever had. We also ordered the beef/onion and shrimp/pork/leek dumplings, very authentic and love the option of fried or steamed. Everything tasted so good, and the owner is such a nice person. We will be back.
