Nielsen's Your Independent Grocer

Have personally shopped here for the last 8 years, and it wasn't until recently that I found the need to go elsewhere. Prices for everyday items have been more than they've ever been, whereas quality and quantity has gone down. The older cashiers are very helpful and kind, often making conversation about the rising cost of food and offering other suggestions if they know the price of something else in the store, as a substitution. Though this location is convenient, I will be on the hunt for a non-chain grocery store.

This store is well lit and clean. It’s well stocked and everything was well presented and looked pleasing to the eyes . There is ample parking. Our experience here was great. It’s part of the Loblaws grocery chain and has the yellow brand and presidents choice food. I like both. I have always enjoyed shopping at Loblaw stores.

This is a small, budget grocery store, and a good option for groceries in Cloverdale. The problem with it is the over reliance on self checkout, which often doesn't work and doesn't have staff attending. They need to get rid of the self checkout, and hire a few more staff members. With the profits Loblaws posts, they can afford to hire the extra staff.

I order grocery pick up a lot from PC express through this store and the staff here are always so kind and efficient. My orders are always perfect and it saves me so much time in my week. Thank you everyone at Independent

Prices are pretty high. Also HATED being hounded by the PC Mastercard Agents for weeks. Turned me off shopping there for the last month.
