NeXT

Another great night at NeXT. We've always had great food at NeXT. Tonight was over the top. The food (as per normal) was amazing but the service was superb. The manager was also our server, and he managed to get our son to try food in a group for the flavour experience and he was pleasantly surprised -- amazing. We've been to NeXT a number of time and the food is always great, but tonight our server's descriptions of some of the dishes made us try some food we likely wouldn't have otherwise, and we were pleasantly surprised with the veal schnitzel. With food like this, and with personal service like we had tonight -- we'll definitely be back. Michael, you have a great manager, he is a definite asset to your restaurant!

Enjoyed the blind tasting menu for a special night out. This is a treat!! Not inexpensive, but worthwhile if you're looking for a special, fancy night out and willing to splurge. The beef tartar was our absolute favourite! They also have room rentals for events and it's a nice venue. Service was great.

2.5 stars. Overrated to be honest. The food was about a 3/5. Price 2/5. Service 3/5. The service was great at the first 2 dishes. But we had to wait about 25 minutes from the time we finished the main until we got desert. The waitresses didn't even look at our direction. I even raised my hand like a high-school student a few times... Nothing! Then we had to wait 15 more minutes for the check. out of 9 dishes we tried (blind tasting menu has 3 different deserts), 3 were good. The others weren't above any average restaurant. It wasn't a "bad" experience, but we probably won't go back there.

What an amazing restaurant! It is definitely a little pricier, I'd say about $60-70 per person- but considering the quality, definitely fair. The food was made to perfection, perfect combination of ingredients and unlike most fancy places with very small portions, menu items were normal sized. I recommend getting reservations as it is pretty busy. Thank you for the service and great atmosphere. I will definitely be back!

Brunch boards - it's basically breakfast tapas. Lots of small servings for sharing. Very high quality and delicious. A mixture of familiar and more unusual foods. Includes dessert. No one leaves hungry.
