Awesome freshly cooked fish and chips, for any Brits missing a taste of home this is your place!
Great fish and traditional style chips! Just did takeout but it smelled so good I just at it in the car. Kids loved it too. Not too greasy either- chips were delicious.
The best fish n chips I’ve found in Alberta so far. They even serve homemade mushy peas and battered sausage! Very nice atmosphere and the batter is light and includes a gluten free option on the fish. The hand cut fries are perfect and fresh.
Very friendly, great food. Ordered for pick up in Covid times. Food very fresh, wrapped it up after I came in. Highly recommended!
I went into this place and asked if they had Halibut. I was scolded by an employee in front of another customer for being so ignorant and apparently should have known that only Haddock and Cod are ever sold in authentic British restaurants. I walked out and will never return.
The fish was a nice big piece and fresh but overall was disappointed. I expected in-house-made tarter sauce in which it wasn’t and more flavour with the limp fries. So overall not worth the price.
ordered thru skip on moving day so we were starving. fish was good, but i didnt' like the fries. price is very high for portion size of just fish and chips, no sides or sauces.
Always good food at the British Chippy in calgary amd okotoks.
