I am not an adventurous eater and have never set foot in an Indian restaurant before but my loss! This food was delicious! Large portions. EVERYTHING we had was delicious, the kabobs, the sides, the salads. Everything! The staff was lovely, the owner was lovely, the decor was lovely. I cannot wait until the patio opens! We will be back. You have to try this place!
The first most impression of the venue was quite welcoming. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, nice bright, high ceilings. Very clean and well kept. Even though we went to order take out. We became quite determined to dine in with the service which was at offered right from the beginning. The service of the hostess was exceptionally amazing. We ordered n served with Chicken tikka Masala Combo after talking to the Chef n Owner Amith. Starting from, the time it took to served to the table from the time we ordered was quite outstanding. Even though there were few other tables were occupied. Three things I take to consideration presentation, Aroma, and the taste was exceptionally amazing the dish we we ordered. The bread Garlic Naan was so mouth watering and appealing and was a good pairing with the chicken Tikka masala. It was a great experience. We will definitely recommend to our friends and for a nice who are keen on authentic Indian cuisine. Thank you Amith and his amazing team for the great experience from the service to the food plus in over all. Definitely we will try more of your other dishes as well. Great Job.
My first time visiting this Indian restaurant. I had the okra masala, rice, butter-garlic naan and tandoori chicken. It was all very good. I really enjoyed the okra masala as it had just the right amount of spices. Owners were very friendly. I'd definitely go back when I'm in Okotoks again.
This is without a doubt the best Indian food I've had. It's better than Mango Shiva and the Taj Mahal and all the others I have eaten through the years. Just by posting this review I going for some Social Kabob. This place is worth the drive from Calgary and so is the owner, an exceptional human being. If you haven't tried this restaurant then your missing out on a incredible dinning experience.
We stopped for dinner here after reading the good reviews and were not disappointed! The Pakora and sauces were the best we've ever had. We also ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala which was delicious. Perfectly spiced and flavored. The spiced chicken kebob was wonderfuly flavorful with perfectly cooked tender chicken. So glad we found this restaurant on our trip through Canada on the way to Alaska.
Will definitely recommend this place. I never order drinks at restaurants. But they had Really affordable non-alcoholic options. The ginger drink was amazing! The food was delicious. Definitely my favorite butter chicken and naan in town. I really loved their take on a Greek salad. The owner was super friendly and let us know about the place since we told him it was our first time there.

My bf and I went here yesterday afternoon while visiting Okotoks for haircuts. The staff are so kind and welcoming. We had the joy of being hosted by Terrace I am sorry if I spelt the name wrong I lost the receipt she was very knowledgeable about the menu 95% of menu items are made in house and Gluten-free my bf is celiac so it can be challenging but Thomas was so kind to make any adjustments possible to suit his needs. Both staff members were so friendly, they made us feel like VIP's. The garlic nann bread is so light and fluffy it is a MUST TRY not GF and the wings are perfection. I had the chicken which was amazing and my bf had lamb which he loved every bite, it does have a kick to it and was too spicy for me. Wonderful experience on the roof top, they have huge umbrellas! I definitely recommend this place to try! The staff and food are just amazing!
We placed a take out order for a party and were not disappointed! Food was very tasty, portions were decent. Prices are what you would expect. They even threw in some dessert, was delicious. Super delicious food, huge portions, affordable prices, and the service tonight Family Day supper was excellent. I recommend Social Kabob highly for all the above reasons.
