New Mandarin Seafood Restaurant

Really great restaurant overall - clean and classic Cantonese restaurant decor with well spaced out tables. Great service and delicious food. We ordered duck crepe pancakes, the lettuce duck wraps, fried rice, pork and buddha fried veggies over noodles. All were good and not too salty. They also reheat well the next day. Now I want to try the dim sum next!

We were there to try out the king crab 5 ways and also tried other dishes on the side. The ambience and service was great! I personally enjoyed the squab , it was crispy and juicy. The steamed crab legs and the steamed egg were also really good, it's sweet and juicy! Lastly, you can't really go wrong with their fried rice, eat it with the steamed egg!!!

We had a huge variety of food ordered and these were some of my favourite dishes! The squid ink fried rice, truffle chicken, char siu not on the main menu yet, scallop taro dim sum and black pepper pork pastry were my favourites. Truffle was not too over powering but the chicken was still bouncy and moist. Fried rice had this smokey -ness too it that was so nice, it also was perfectly seasoned. The dim sum items were so unique and flavourful! The dessert items are too cute to even eat! Would recommend going here with friends/ family so you can try multiple dishes!

I always have lunch or dinner with my boyfriend in this place, and it never disappoints us. - The food quality is decent, always tasted good. - The services are also fine. The servers always get your order correct, takes away the empty plates and refill the tea or water. - The parkings in underground are easy to find. Plenty of spots you can park. - The pricing is okay, matches the food quality and interior decoration. Overall, if you like dim sum and other Chinese dishes, I would suggest people to try.

Haven’t been to any Cantonese style dim sum restaurant that opens early service for a long time, they opened @ 09:30am and was there for 09:45am. Friendly staff, manager was on top with opening and the owner was their also. Waiter & waitresses was quick also with orders, morning crowd got busy @ 10:30am, still get services. The morning dim sum are great . These are some of my comfort food, had it in Hong Kong and its so similar in taste. I highly recommend, and will return for morning dim sum.

Honestly, at this very moment this is my TOP restaurant for dim sum and Cantonese seafood in Van right now. It beats even the more established canto restaurants in Richmond but you don't hear it talked about a lot hence I'm here talking about it. I've been here 4 times in the last 3 months and have not been disappointed once. Any dish with seafood is OUTSTANDING; everything else is high quality too. Also love the upscale yet welcoming interior. Great for big groups. Weekend reservations are a must as they are busy at all hours of the day

The food and the service was excellent! Must try dim-sum items include the Quail Egg Shao Mai, Deep Fried Taro with Scallops, and the Egg Yolk Buns. They brought the food out quickly and the service was fast and efficient. I would recommend going here with a bigger party as the portions are huge, which is reflected by the prices.

The food is very delicious. A lot of very innovative “ dim sum “ that cannot be found in other restaurant. Our kids like the desert - Chocolate Mousse Puppy. It is too cute to eat it. We also found that the steamed hot sour pork soup dumping and crispy shrimp dumplings are very tasty. We love the food so much. It is highly recommended

This is a fancier than average dim sum restaurant with unique dim sum offerings. Prices are a bit higher but the service and quality of food makes up for it. There is a king crab special on right now and you can choose upto 5 courses with that king crab. It is on special for $48.99/lb which is descent considering it is around $50/lb if you buy it from a seafood wholesaler and it's not cooked for you. The average weight of king crabs here are 7-10 lbs. Service is attentive when not busy. They do swap out plates for you which is nice.

Excellent food, we went on a Saturday night around 7:30pm with a reservation and the restaurant was packed! Food came out quickly, service was kind - albeit the servers were overwhelmed. Overall amazing because of the food quality.Food: 5/5
