Come Along Seafood Restaurant

Ok, so, I was skeptical at first going here because work colleagues picked it quickly for lunch. However, I was indeed VERY wrong— this resto is EXCELLENT! DELICIOUS, fast, perfect dim sum dishes. The fried tofu stuffed with shrimp, in particular, is incredible. Honestly, everything was excellent, portion sizes are HUGE and good value for money. I would say the portions are larger than other comparable dim sum places — I hope management keeps it that way! I have been back a few times, and will definitely continue to go back here for lunch, dinner when I make it to East Van. You won’t be sorry if you make the hike to this place. Highly recommended to bring groups and out of towners.

Dim sum is good and always feel welcomed here. Big portion, great selections and fair price. Environment is not the best but okay for the price. They use single-use table cloth so pretty clean. Our go-to place for dim sum on weekends.

The dim sum has been good and we do appreciate the quality of the service there. Yet, last Sunday, we ordered the which they highly recommended to us as a take out and had it at home. The crab was obviously stale to the extent of losing the freshy texture and taste. Disappointed and our trust betrayed!!! However, two days later, in response to our comment on the quality of the dish they made it up for us. We were pleased about their integrity.

So theres no one to greet or bring you in for a table. You kinda just look awkward trying to get their attention. Char siu bao was extremely dry hard to tell from photo. The other bun I had, Liu sha bao wasn’t dry, so I guess it was a mistake. Prices are fair. Cheung fun is not a good meat proportion but some restaurants do that, so it’s a small complaint. No dessert options I saw on the menu, I wanted a mango pudding or anything. There’s no Chinese steamed custard bun either some restaurants don’t have. So the menu is kind of small. No problems with the rest of the food. And the restaurant is pretty clean compared to others. I think the rating is fair.

Dim sum is really good here, big portions and lots of variety. They can also seat 10-12 guests at one table comfortably, me and my family of 12 come here for dim sum occasionally and the service is great every time.

Come Along is a decent and ideal Chinese restaurant for family dinners. A good size restaurant with many large tables seat 12 guests comfortably. It is generally quite busy for lunch and dinner, but they do take reservations. They have limited parking in the back, so it's mostly street parking. The dishes are of generous portions and well prepared. The service is prompt. Over-all, a good restaurant for a decent family/group meal.

Quite a popular place for Dinner and especially Dim Sum/breakfast as they offer discounts if you order before a certain time. Moderately priced, good portion size, consistent quality, select live seafood. Small rear parking lot; street parking available.
