Attended a family wedding on the lake in March! If it weren't for the woodstove in the cabin I would have froze my a$$ off but it was absolutely a blast!
Lovely rustic decor with thoughtful touches. Restaurant serves basic fare but plenty of it. Wish I had more time to stay and enjoy some of the outdoor activities like snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
Would recommend this place to anyone who likes winter adventure.

Was snowmobiling for the day and stopped for lunch with 3 other people in our party. The hospitality and helpfulness of the couple who run the place was outstanding. We enjoyed our lunch - recommend that you stick to the sandwiches.

Just Amazing! Love everything about NEOC! The staff, the restaurant, the lodging... Are all fantastic!!! I would HIGHLY recommend it. You also must get as many massages from Holly as you have time for. You'll not regret the amazing massage she gives.

I could rant and rave about NEOC, Twin Pines Resort, and River Driver Restaurant for days! Let me first start off by saying, I'm a little spoiled. My husband and I like accomodations on the luxurious side of things. We have lived, and traveled all over the world. And when we find a place that we like we stay as often as we can! We spent 4 extended snowmobile weekends at this resort over this winter.
We first stayed at Twins Pines Resort over New Years in the Wax Wing cabin. This is one of the newer cabins in the woods. We had New Years dinner at River Driver Restaurant. It was exceptional! We had delicious soups, salads, and entrees, along with a nice bottle of wine, and fireworks provided by the resort! I have no idea what such an outstanding restaurant is doing in the middle of no where! They continued to wow us throughout the winter. It's no wonder why this is a popular stop for snowmobilers from near and far!
We have stayed in 3 of the newer cabins over the winter: Wax Wing (twice), Snowy Owl, and Fox Den. Each of these cabins is decorated beautifully, and simply. They have all of the amenities you could need! The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. All of the linens and towels are extremely clean and soft. They take extra care to make sure the cabins are spotless, and smelling good upon arrival. The kitchens are fully stocked with dishes, glasses (even wine glasses!), mixing bowls, cutting boards, knives, silverware, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and stove/oven. I have made full meals for 5 people comfortably in the kitchens. I prefer to cook most of our meals, as I don't like to eat out for every meal. There is also satellite TV and wifi.
The staff is amazing. Alison, Shorey, and Elaine (to name a few) have provided us with any answers or amenities that we have needed. They have made us feel very welcome, even remembering our name! The staff here has been very accommodating, going above and beyond for us every time!
They have miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, as well as snowshoe trails starting just outside of the lodge. Also, some of the best snowmobiling I have ever experienced! We stay with our husky, and she is as welcome as we are! Stay here. You will not regret it!

Friendly staff and well maintained facility. Great place to get away but have all the amenities of home. Wi-Fi , restaurant on premise with great food and cozy atmosphere. Great for ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling or just getting away. Camps big and small so will accommodate any size group. Highly recommended and well worth the stay!!!
