We've had a really good time here. You should know that it is a hiker hostel which means that it's generally not as clean to keep as other hostels. Besides that we enjoyed it and a definite recommendation!

Favorite for AT hikers. Just to clarify, the photo shown here is Pelletiers Restaurant, not the Inn The Inn is just up the street (on the same side)

The service that the Appalachian Trail Lodge provides for hikers, and long distance travelers is one not easily matched up and down the trail corridor. For one flat rate you get picked up from the major bus terminal, and taken back to the Lodge, where you will receive a comfy bunk for the night. They have a small store to grab last minute supplies, and gear items during your stay. In the morning you are treated to an amazing breakfast at the restaurant just down the street from the Lodge before they give you a ride to Baxter State Park, where you will begin your journey.

Surprisingly nice little inn. Rooms are tidy and shared bathrooms are clean. Caters well to the backpacking community. Hosts are gracious and friendly.

Very clean and comfy beds. Great little kitchen where you can prepare your own meals.
