Sawmill Bar & Grill

Very good food. My girlfriend said best chef salad she has ever had. Even portions of all ingredients. We had appetizers. Deep fried pickles were awesome. She took the rest of salad hiking and said it was still the best she has ever had. You made a first. She is beyond fussy.

The Sawmill is the bar that I go to annually when I go white water rafting. This past year a number of people that I went with felt that the quality of the food went down. While the food was not as good as it had been in past years I still thought that my dish was well priced and the quality was good for that price. The price of their draft beers are also an upside to coming here. Allagash black is on tap and very reasonably priced.

If you're not from around here, save yourself money and trouble: eat here. Im from Maryland and just chose restaurants based on Yelp/Google and this was the absolute best place to eat. The only place ill go back to in this area! Amazing service, delicious food, and worth your dollar.

This is a amazing place to eat after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this place and I wish I found it sooner. Great staff and great selection of food. That Blue Moon was amazing after a brutal day of hiking.
