New Balance Pointe-Claire / chaussures le depot

Very disappointed with my last couple of visits, I used to go there for the orthopedic shoes section and the excellent amazing and knowledgeable service. Now it has become a warehouse where all the shoes are sorted by size. The layout is terrible . The store looks shabby and it is all self-service now. Feels like a Payless store....but for expensive shoes. The staff is Few. No knowledge and not professional seriously wearing a grubby t shirt they are not competent sale reps. Where was that amazing service we had years ago? I used to love this place. The only plus side....is that they do carry wide...but only if YOU can find them. Don't expect much help.

A big thank you to the store owner for dealing with an issue I had with a pair of shoes I had purchased in the fairest and most accommodating way possible. A big thank you to Sabrina, the store manager, for being very helpful, very prompt and very professional from the beginning to the very end of the above-mentioned matter. Every time I have gone to Le Depot, the entire staff are always very friendly, helpful and informative in serving my family and I. This store has a very wide variety of regular and specialized shoes. The overall service and experience at Le Depot has always been exceptional! My family and I will definitely keep going back!

Disappointed with customer service. Was going to purchase a pair of runners at 100$ +tax and noticed an ink stain. They claimed they were trying to get the stain off by using tide to go. The stain wasn't going anywhere, we asked if they can get it from another location and they claimed they didn't have there either but said they were brand new collection all a little weird we asked if they would be willing to sell them discounted considering the stain and it was a firm no they said their boss would never allow it. Keep in mind we made a purchase of over 300$ already and they still wouldn't bend and wouldn't call someone higher up so they lost the sale, one of the employees was very catty. Overall not a great experience considering it's not the first time we have bought here. We will not be returning. To add to their response the 25% was not offered due to the issue it was because we purchased 2 other pairs of shoes you were doing nothing beyond what anyone off the street would have gotten for purchasing 2 pairs of shoes.

They are amazing! I was impressed by the 'width' they carry. They have selections of comfortable and great looking shoes that fit my extra wide feet width EE. I've been walking a lot with new sandal I bought here for 2 weeks now. No blister, no pain.

Great selection of comfortable shoes and I am very happy with the service. I purchased a 2E which felt great in-store, but I realized it was a bit too wide once I started walking around after I bought them. The staff was easy-going about exchanging for a more narrow size. Customer service is not dead!

i went there 4 weeks ago because i have a hard time finding shoes, boots or sandals, i had a car accident many years ago and my feet and ankle were redone, so my shoes need high arches and must keep foot from turning inwards. I was told there was a Spanish young woman that was very good at fitting problem feet and she was amazing. She spent almost 3 hours finding me the perfect shoes, sandals and boots. I just let her tell me what was best and she was right, i got 2 pairs of sandals, 2 pairs of winter boots, 1 pair of kind of fancy shoes with a little bit of height and 3 pairs of NB running shoes, she kept running to the stock room as she remembered winter boot models put away for the end of season but good fit for me and she was absolutely right. I never thought after wearing ugly granny shoes for 10 years i could have some style and a perfect fit also. Thank you for the time, the help and the willingness to go out of her way.

Great store! They had a great selection of shoes and a very knowledgeable staff. The gentleman helping me asked me a whole bunch of question and we did several test to make sure that the shoes I had were the right ones for me. Great experience and great store!!!

I went there twice in the last couple of weeks and I have to say that the sales staff I had wasn't very experienced. I was specifically asking for the difference between three windbreakers and didn't get much of a response. They do not have a large shoe variety and didn't have mine in stock M1500v2. I was offered the v1 version but the sales person didn't know the difference. The term 'Chassures le Depot' gives the false impression of a factory outlet. Not the case as the prices are the regular ones.

WATCH OUT !!! the 10 day return policy or store credit is a fraud. They, ONLY THEY, will judge if item is valid for a store credit. Inspect carefully your purchase, they just might sell you a returned item, and if THEY think it has too much wear, you're out of luck for a credit. Male staff not very sympathetic. BUYER BEWARE.
