Story

Pradal Serey is an unarmed martial art from Cambodia. It is commonly mistaken for Muay Thai. Pradal Serey is a military martial arts that dominated South East Asia that pushed the Mongolian hordes back to the China plains where a race named by the Khmers as Syam (Siam) followed the Khmer warriors back to South East Asia where they adopted the Khmer culture then was known as the Siam Kingdom. In 1949 they changed to Thailand and Muay Thai was mass marketed.

Major difference from Pradal Serey and Muay Thai are the stances and other combat techniques, throws, sweeps, clinch, striking and wrestling. At Neak Ta we mainly work on Dragon stance which morphs into other stances like monkey, tiger, rooster and other stances, where as Muay Thai mainly works with horse stance.
