Just started with K2 and I really enjoy the training: their X-Fit sessions are intense, kickboxing is taught by a very knowledgeable sensei, Krav Maga classes are great! Taking every opportunity to practice all of them. Also, must mention the great team spirit of all students and coaches. Personalized and very supportive approach. My daughter loves her jujitsu classes three days a week here.
Stay far away from this place. Never give these people your credit card info. They used to have a store front on Wellington St. in Hintonburg but went under. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau about them. Finally, MasterCard got involved and cancelled all transactions on my account and refunded me 6 months of charges K2 had made on my account. I can't believe they have set up shop somewhere else. Buyer beware!!
Coaches are very knowledgeable, workouts are amazing and when you are done, you feel like a champion. Workouts are fun yet the results are unimaginable. Put it this way, I’ve never lost this much in so little time before. All with good diet ideas they provide and well calculated, targeted workouts. It feels like you are surrounded by friends and the support that is given between ourselves makes all the differences. Staff make the atmosphere positive! Love this place and grateful to have discovered it.
I started out with the 6 week challenge and fell in love with this gym ! The coaches are extreamly caring and are always eager to help you reach your goals ! Whether your on the mats and need adjustments to your workout or advise for eatting clean at home they are always there to help.. I ended up joining fulltime after the challenge and due to personal reason I am unable to continue but I plan to be back soon! This was an amazing experience and I recommend this gym to anyone either starting out or already on their fitness journey! Thanks to K2xfit I have learned so many great workouts and learned how to keep myself motivated on my journey to a healthier lifestyle ! Thank you coach Issa, Shelly and Robert I will miss you guys until I return !
The encouragement of the other gym goers and coaches is awesome. I started the 6-week challenge this past Sunday and it’s going well so far! You get access to all the classes, a custom meal plan, and coaches to keep you accountable but you also need to have self-accountability in my opinion, like being honest with yourself throughout the process. I like the idea behind the HIIT classes at K2Xfit and having them only last a half hour so you can really have the opportunity to work at a higher intensity throughout the entire 30 minutes vs slowing down during an hour workout. Also, for those recovering from a concussion, the lighting is great. Music is loud but personally that motivates me more to keep going while also distracting me from the soreness lol. You are greeted by your name from coaches when you walk through the doors which kinda differentiates this gym from others as in the community aspect. Each class is really well organized for being a smaller place. Having stations really makes the most of the gym. In the end, lasting changes come from you and your commitment to yourself and balancing weight loss with healthy living. Thank you to all the coaches and gym peers for supporting me throughout my journey.
I just finished doing a 6 week challenge here and have nothing but amazing things to say about this place!!! The workouts are intense and a LOT of fun!!! You WILL see results in every aspect of your life!!! During the 6 weeks I lost weight, lost size, gained energy, gained confidence, gained experience, and most importantly I gained many new friends!!! It has been a blast seeing not only my own transformation, but that of everyone else as well!!! The trainers are phenomenal as well!!! They are always there to offer advice, support, encouragement and to even give you that extra push to try just a little bit harder than you think you can handle!!! Another thing that really impressed me is how they take the time to get to know you... they remember your name... they check up on you!!! If you are unsure, make an appointment and have a chat with someone one on one!!! I went in a discombobulated mess, and came out a happy healthy woman!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!!
Couldn't be more pleased with this gym and those who work there. I successfully completed the 6 week challenge with Coach Issa and I can't speak highly enough about the experience. The nutrition plan was comprehensive, easy to follow and geared to make you successful. The workouts are HARD but do they ever work! My strength and endurance improved greatly! I can't recommend this place enough! Our son also attends Little Ninjas Jiu-Jitsu with Sensei Mike and he absolutely loves it. The program for kids is fantastic and develops a great work ethic and set of values for the kids. Sensei Mike is so great with the kids, too, they adore him and have great respect for him. This program is so valuable for all kids and families. Overall, our whole family loves K2 Martial Arts!
Everything was great until we had to leave the gym due to a unique circumstance. After discussing the situation with my partner, they agreed to cancel in June and refund our payment. They not only haven’t refunded the payments, they have continued to take payments through the summer, despite repeatedly speaking with them about it and their guarantee that it wouldn’t happen anymore. Now trying to get through to anyone is next to impossible. The instructors were good, but the company has been an absolute nightmare. I hate posting negative reviews, but this is earned.
This Fitness Studio is awesome. The HIIT sessions are everything you would expect if you really want to reach your fitness goals. Choaches Issa & Robert are charismatic and on top of their role. They encouraged me every time I showed up and followed through the program with ongoing face to face chats here and there. Meal plan is so easy to understand and rich in variety so you are not bored or stuck eating the same time all the the time. If you are serious about getting fit, they are too. This is the place!!!
