The guys at John Thistle are truly awesome stand up people. I took my truck to *** tire in Richmond and they told me that they wouldn't take my truck off the hoist unless I got "mandatory safety repairs" done to my brakes, both control arms and one wheel bearing. They quoted me $6000 for everything they said was wrong. I told them to go f*** themselves and made them take it off the hoist. I took it to John Thistle and it was $1200 for a service and both front control arms. They said everything else was fine. There's tons of shady dirtbags out there but the guys there were great!

I had some overdue maintenance done on my truck and was very pleased with the service from John Thistle Auto. They were not pushy at all on what needed to be done and were very easy to work with. I've used repair shops in the past that apply a lot of pressure and make it seem as though your vehicle will fall apart if you don't do the recommended repairs!

I have been taking my car to John & his team for years. Always great at letting me know exactly what needs to be done, what can wait and giving me a fair price. Can't recommend them enough. Truly a great local business.

Amazing service! fast! efficient! They kept me in the loop the whole time of what needed to be fixed or changed.  I have not had an issue with my vehicle since.  They go above and beyond to make the customer happy.

I've had the pleasure of the fine folks at John Thistle Auto work on my Nissan Pathfinder over the past 5 years and I have always been happy with the service they provide. Much better than having to drive in to Richmond and be without a car for several days.
