Good small town service!

Overpriced and try to charge you for things that aren't a problem. Last summer I was having trouble with a VW Golf I had just bought. I brought it into Delta Automotive and they told me that the fuel injector was shorting out. They fixed it but warned me that the front exhaust was in rough shape; they also told me they "could see through the timing belt". I was told that it would cost $1670 to replace the timing belt, tensioner and water pump. I said no because the car was only worth $1400 when I bought it. Anyways I drove the car away and literally 7km later my exhaust fell off. I had been driving that car all summer and suddenly right after I'm warned about it, it falls off.... Hmmmmmm....... I wonder if they did that...... I got the exhaust fixed and decided to store the car for the winter (I only really needed it for the summer. I'm a student). A few months later my mother tried to get them to fix one of her shock absorber fixed in her car. They wouldn't do it unless they replaced all 4 of them. It was actually cheaper for her to take the car to the dealer... This made me question what they said about my timing belt. Today I got my mechanically inclined friend to take a look at it and we found nothing wrong. No cracks, nothing. I think the only reason they get so many 5 star reviews is because people don't think about how much their repairs should cost. Do not go to this shop. They will overcharge you and lie about problems that don't exist.

This shop is the best in the area. The owner has a lot of integrity, and that filters down to the rest of the staff. I have always enjoyed the best of service from them. They are so helpful, and they really focus on top quality work. Many of my friends and family have been servicing here over the years with great success. It's too bad that there aren't more shops like Delta Automotive.

We had my daughters VW in for some repairs last week. Ryan was great at the front counter and he explained everything. It was a fair price and the work was done on time. I recommend Delta Automotive. Thanks to the team for getting my daughter back on the road!
