Visiting from Texas, we drove a bit further to this location as the reviews were much better than the location closer to our hotel in Burnaby. And I am glad we drove here. We were greeted with a very friendly staff member with a beautiful smile which made us feel welcomed. We ordered the half chicken with peri fries, corn on the cob, rice. Also did garlic bread for appetizer. My daughter ordered the boneless chicken meal from the Nandinos menu. Food came out pretty quick, freshly prepared and delicious. Chicken was juicy and flavorful.nOverall excellent service and good food.
The service was excellent during my latest visit. The cashier made an effort to accommodate our party of 12...and did so with a smile.nThe flame broiled chicken here is usually on par. Nando's is great if you like spicy BBQ.nnMy only issue is that the sauces and glazes seem to use a new recipe every few years. Consistency... not much.
Ordered the whole chicken + 2 sides. Plenty of food for two people and great value! Delicious, tender, grilled chicken! Service was also very kind and accommodating.
So… on the up side, the chicken and peri-peri fries were tasty. However, we ordered the jumbo platter see pic. When we picked it up they informed me that the salad was a “premium side” so it costs extra. It also only comes 4 garlic bread instead of 6 as advertised. Furthermore, the large rice is very small and to add insult to injury, the container was only 3/4 full. Value nill, 0, zilch! Rip off.
Food is always fresh and of good quality. The vibe in this store is really great mostly because of the nice and friendly staff who always has smiles on their faces. They also check on your table if everything is great and if we need anything else. Can't highlight that enough as most Nando's serve you like they are fastfood, you order and that's it. That will definitely be not the experience on this store. Kudos to the team!
