Nail One Spa

This was my first time at the salon and she was aware. I went in for a gel refill. The lady I had wasn't patient when I was deciding colours and was critical when there were marks on my gel nails. I wanted to be 100% sure with the colour I chose and she rushed me while I was deciding. She was also texting and on the phone while doing my nails. I wouldn't come back.

Horrible experience with Coco. This lady yelled at me when I tried to correct her re: what she was doing to my nail. In addition, she over cut my cuticle and it started to bleed. She did not provide an antiseptic to stop the bleeding until I asked and then got annoyed when I asked for the antiseptic so my cuticle would stop bleeding. She was quite rough with my hands. I had a horrible experience with her. I would not let her touch my nails even if I was paid. Stay clear of her. When I told her manager what occurred she told me to go to another manicurist. She did not even provide an apology. This place lacks professionalism.

Had a great experience here on a Monday morning/afternoon. Literally no one else in the spa asides myself but Jenny was very patient when she did my nails. Took 40-45 mins to do shellac french manicure only and I paid $35 + tip. I think Jenny did an awesome job and she was so pleasant to talk to!

First time trying a new salon since moving from Oshawa to Markham - I must say I'm very impressed by the quality & professionalism of this place! The lady (sorry I didn't get her name) did exactly what I requested, manicure and shellac - my own nails, squared off and shorter (work purposes). Very impressed, good conversation & experience. Lots of colour choices and prices average. Very clean, modern appearance, good lighting & comfortable temperature.

Found Nail One & Spa this past summer and it's been my go-to nail place ever since (I get a gel mani every 3 weeks with the occasional pedi). All of the girls I've had do a great job but I now typically request Coco or Nancy. Clean, friendly and convenient location!
