Always good! Don't know why there are so many negative reviews but I always have the best experience. Food tasted really yummy and our server Ayaz made sure we had everything we needed and looked after us the entire time. Less than $60 for drinks, appetizer and main meals I think that's a decent price for supper. Plus no washing dishes involved. Highly recommended!
Great Pakistani restaurant with friendly and welcoming staffs. If you are looking for Halal options then this is one of the best places to consider in the city. I ordered the Chicken Biriyani and another day I ordered Naan and Tandoori Chicken. Both times I had full satisfaction on the taste of the food and the service provided by their awesome staffs. I will visit them again next time when I am at Halifax.
Location is good in quinpool road, however parking is hard to find. Decorations and layout is good, the restaurant is very big and fit large group. Cleanliness, the place is clean to expectations Serives, extremely friendly and professional, the servant well knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. Timing for service is plausible and timing to get the food also within expectations Food, is delicious and yummy and rich, I couldn't finish the plate. Prices, affordable and $ compare to quality and quantity. Conclusion, I am coming back, it is worth the visit for sure.
We had a nostalgic dine. Food was tasty. Environment not that much happening but it was peaceful. Recommended
Had a lot of expectations but the food was not up to the mark. Ordered Kadahi Paneer which is a popular dine out North Indian dish, but it did not even reach an average level. Can easily do much better.Food: 2/5
Ordered chicken Biriyani but we got something else, taste was okey but it was something different. Had Biriyani from all over India and Middle East everything follows a pattern but here they make something else and call it Biriyani. Restaurant is okey lots of seating and nice lighting make a different ambience. Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarians options. Parking: There is no parking space, you have to find the street parking in front of the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Not.
Working my way thru all the dishes. On about my 5th visit. May be the best value in Halifax. Always get dinner and enough to heat up for lunch the next day. Butter Chicken to die for and Garlic Naan exquisite!
Very the worst food ever had in Halifax during our stay. First kind of experience in Canada. We ordered chicken curry, naan, and Momos. The chicken was still frozen and they added some gravy to it I think. the gravy was like no salt in it, felt a little old. Naan was too oily kind. Momos were Spicy since we like spicy foods that are kind of ok for us initially. Since we bought it we start to have that. After having even one naan and a couple of chicken pieces, I was food poisoned I think. We didn't waited to finish even half of what we ordered. And within less than an hour I was throwing up and had a bad stomach. Hoped it will go but suffered for 3 days because of one evening meal. Called the restaurant on Saturday and they were in a no-care attitude. Told me on getting back soon but still waiting for their call. It's such a shame that they haven't told an apology word for what has happened. My weekend got wasted. In the morning I started throwing up 5 times within 3 hours and now after taking medicine I think I am getting better. But this kind of thing is not at all acceptable, that too when we pay the price of their demand. Never choose this if you are looking for good food.
Entire floor was dirty. Thanks to tiles that can hide tons of dirt. Mosquitoes biting you while you bite food. Washroom was stinking so bad like not cleaned and not maintained for months. Faucets were not working and urinals were overflowing. Best example of how rating can take you to wrong place. Food wasn’t that good too. Nice spot, large space but I am not going there again. No meaning to have large place if it can’t be maintained.
My girlfriend and I wanted to go to the restaurant where we had our first date. We were the only customers. The waitress wanted us to sit near the kitchen because she “didn’t want to walk that far.” We took a seat next to the window where we could watch life outside the restaurant. This table is where we had our first date. The waitress wasn’t done. Next she tells us she wants us to move, “to have a bigger table.” I tell her we want to sit next to the window. She’s upset. She’s got a knot in her face when she brings our food. After about 10 minutes she hollers from the kitchen end of the restaurant, “how is your food?” The food is great. Authentic, fresh ingredients. The waitress has an attitude that reflects poorly on the restaurant. I’m going to take my business elsewhere for a while. Good luck.
