One of the best Indian restaurant’s in the HRM! The food was delicious, as I ordered Paneer, Chicken Biryani and Raita. As well as the serving was amazing and the price was very affordable. Arash our server was very helpful and respectful in picking choices, which all of us enjoyed very much. I will definitely be coming back here, giving recommendations to other Bengali family friends of mine. Imperial Bombay all the way! *P.S. Here’s an honest review of the food. Photos attached for proof. 1. Lamb biryani 3/5 - VERY pricey for the quantity, lamb was well cooked though but not enough lamb for the price, flavor was decent. 2. Lamb seekh kebab 2/5 - I wish I could give this a higher rating because the taste was spot on, but quantity was some of the worst I have seen. $26+for 5 small pieces. Felt like theft in my opinion. 3. Dal makhni 3/5 lot of room for improvement, not traditional tasting but decent. 4. Naan 2.75/5 not made in a tandoor, tastes like very average Walmart or superstore naan. 5. Kulfi 4.5/5 something i’d definitely recommend trying. Pistachio was very good! If I have to summarize, go there to try kulfi and that’s it. If there’s a reduction in their prices then definitely give the biryani and lamb kebabs a try!
Worst food, I ordered tandoori chicken and it smells and tastes very bad. I had my stomach upset after eating here. And the server serves food in shorts. Does not maintain the standards of a restaurant.
The food was amazing. You can taste the great depth of flavor and the skill and talent of the cheif. I highly recommend this awesome Indian cuisine restaurant with it's warm atmosphere and very nice staff. Job well done people and thank you for the great meal.
Note there's some bad faith reviews here you can probably ignore. Fantastic food - probably some of the best Indian food on the island, and there's a lot of competition. The naan here is amazing, and butter chicken is a huge winner. We're going to keep coming back to try the whole menu, but it's a good mix of restaurant dining crossed with home-type cooking. Inside is clean and open, plenty of family-type seating.
This is the stale food that we got in online order ,if I will eat this food and feed it to my family we will have food poisoning for sure .spent 100$ for this garbage.never go to this place if you want to stay healthy and fit .and 4 manchurian for 20$
The food here is yummy and tasty. There are a number of options in veg and non veg as well. There’s magic in the chef’s hand Wishing them all the best for the restaurant. Eating here reminds us of the Indian taste. Would recommend this restaurant to each and every Indian who’s missing on Indian food.
This was my first time in this new restaurant and it did not disappoint. The chicken dishes were fresh and tasty. The rice was perfect! Overall, I would recommend this place for traditional Indian food dishes.
One of the best Indian restaurants at Halifax - I've had food from here multiple times- It's always fresh, and delicious! The hosts are warm and location is great with multiple street parking spots available around.. A must try
The food is very yummy and in good quantity. I highly recommend this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. Honestly, this is my second time ordering online. Overall, the food is excellent, "the best Indian style food."
